This is just amazing. I just need to know if the UC-33e is compatible with pd using MacOSX-Snow Leopard?I will appreciate any help you can give me and some patches will be greatly appreciated ;-) my main email is > glitch@asylum.com <
Hi, nice attempt with the tablet. I am also a Wacom player and would like to gather and discuss with people of this community. Please, tell me if you're interested. -Nicolas
in all honesty, I think this is real neet, although I've got a strange taste in sound. I'm a huge fan of the axis midi controller, but the setup you've got going there is real creative to say the least, and has real potential for a disturbing horrer film of some kind, or scifi or something (thats what I imagine from this style of music).

...the amount of crap you can produce with your computer. Amazing! So much control so little expression. This is pure existencialist crapola. Congratulations.
Well thanks for your criticism. Expression in live electronic and electroacoustic music is really a problem since the days of theremin and ondes martenot(and there are very few instruments that can actually beat them). I'm constantly thinking on this issue. If you were to play this instrument, you would probably feel that it actually feels expressive but fails to direct this power to the audience. Yes, indeed, it is a problem to be solved, thanks.
By being so construtive about it, I am shure you will overcome the problem even use it to your advantage. About instruments "beating" instruments, well I wouldnt know about that.
To clarify: Beating was used in context there. I wanted to say: "there are few instruments that can actually beat them in terms of directing their expressive qualities to the audience, preferably -out of the box-".
I would like to know if the software you used for the concept of this performance is available for mac osx.. pure data is ;in fact, I have it installed and am an addicted user of this, although I have never heard of reaper and MEAPsoft; by the way, I think I can probably use the ableton live to make something similary - although it is not open source/freeware, and the stuff doesn't get so stable
I can't find it(and most of other controllers of maudio) on their website either. Maybe they are discontinued? anyways, youtube does not allow me to post url's here so I'm sending you a message.
can you do a version where we can see the interface you coded for this?

@actionist pretty much any usb midi device is or usb controller. It's only when you start looking at webcams you're likely to run into problems
