@13vlee no he never had feelings for Emma, he was pretending to to hind the fact that he was actually engaged to Jane so his aunt wouldn't find out. Frank Churchill believed Emma thought the same way, in fact he thought she had figured it out and was going to fill in the rest about his engagement with Jane but he was called away by his aunt leaving her to believe that he was in love with her.
