@Crazytjeuh hmmmm if you mean EVH sound, i think no, there is not enough gain i think. And also the character of the gain is headed to vintage sounds, EVH sounds more modern to my ears
Hey! Nice jamming! I'm almost sold on one of these! But I have a few questions if you don't mind. I hear some bad reviews about the stock speaker, what is your opinion on it? Does it take pedals well? Do you like the internal reverb? Thanks for answering and keep playing man!
the stock speaker is nothing special, but not bad either. It pronounces a bit the high end and lacks bass. Although i dont thing its totally necessary, i switched it with a Tonker (eminence) and the result is a fuller fatter louder tone. With the one or the other speaker, the amp takes pedals well. Loop helps if you have amp modelling or pedals to put between pre and power amp.
irakliszs, nice jamming.....I just bought one of these too. How are you liking it these days? Honeymoon over or do you still dig it? First Chinese made amp for me.....how's the build quality? Anything loose or falling off?!?
@altersaint depends on your pickups. With humbucker u have to set drive at 2, maybe 2.5 and set the volume as you desire. With single coils, you can go up to 3-4 drive without getting any dirt.
I usually set the gain at 6-7 with humbuckers for a nice drive tone and i play smoother to clean it up. For funk tones, try put drive at 2 for super clean
@askfever Hey! my schecter c1 classic uses SD JB (bridge) and jazz (neck) at 1:10 i think its full drive (or almost full) with increased mids (about 7) about 4 highs, about 6 bass and about 7 tone control. Im not sure tho. I was trying to reproduce marshall-like overdrive. It sure depends on your pickups too
Can this thing get some kind of brown sound?

I like the internal digital reverb VERY much.

What's your setting adjustment at 1:10 of the video?
