Thanks a lot, your video convinced me to buy one and install it the next day. Only took me about 20 mins to install (those screws are cheap) with the only real problem being stringing it. But I found that placing a capo on the ninth fret and stringing up the neck first then moving to the bigsby helps a lot. Btw I haven't had any tuning problems yet for I used graphite from a pencil for the nut and bridge and I have an n-tune onboard.
Thanks a million man, I've had a Bigsby forever and didn't want to do it myself or pay somebody money I don't have to do it for me. Then I watched this video and now my LP has a bigsby. Oh ya, I have strap locks too so i had to make that exact adjustment. Anyway, thanks again I can't say how helpful this was.
@SpiteJay I took my LP to my luthier because the pickups had a hum I couldn't explain. Turns out the guitar is grounded through the tailpiece and when I removed the tailpiece I lost the ground -- hence hum. He had to drill a horizontal hole through the body and reground to the bridge. You can probably make yours ground by cutting off the tops of the tailpiect mounting screws and inserting them so that the bigsby touches the tops. Does yours hum?
@Cellaraxman yes but thats probably thanks to the way it's wired. I made a 'custom' circuit you see and being the "trained professional" I am, it's a bit touchy now, but so long as I'm touching the strings or the bigsby she settles right down.
They have something called a vibramate on amazon that way you dont have to drill holes in your guitar and devalue it :)

@SpiteJay You are very welcome -- glad I could help someone. Did you have any tuning problems after installation?

@Cellaraxman None to speak of, it's been on for a while now and it stays in tune much better than it did.
