  • was your hair relaxed prior to the keratin treatment? and if it wasn't do you think after its washed, it looks the same as it does when it is relaxed?

  • did you do this treatment yourself at home? which is the name of the product? i'm thinking about trying this myself, but i don't want to pay $200 at a salon.

  • I take GNC Hair, Skin and Nails. It's the only supplement that has made a real difference(except pur biotin, which also made my face break out.) Try the GNC stuff if you're going that route, in addiiton to a regular multivitamin. Oh yeah-- and I also take liquid silica. It makes my nails harder and thicker.

  • Taking vitamin helps it grow too. (Centrum A-Zinc) Washing ur hair with head facing down bring blood circulation to your head which also is good for hair grow instead of standing straight . My hair is to the middle of my back when all my life its been little pass my shoulders full and beautiful from following these steps. Silk element relaxer is the Best, Cooking olive oil for and hr in ur hair every week or two and heat protector befor straight iron done me well !!

  • Silk Element Relaxer is the best. Also for those that straight iron their hair alot and it tend to be dry. Use cooking olive oil on your hair let it stay for an hr. then shampoo off then conditioner. Do that every week or two. Before you straight iron use a heat protector hair polishing so it wont burn.

  • @xboricuaxny what is the pH on the Silk Element Relaxer? Because if it has a high pH then she might be better off not using it. just saying.

  • I really don't know but I will get back to you on that .. I used this product for all type of hair and the results were worth it...

  • Hey, I got the BKT done and I'm ready to wash it now, I didn't buy the recommended shampoo and conditioner. I'm looking for a sodium chloride / sulfate free products do you know any ?

  • Dr. Bronners Soaps are sulfate free, and so is L'Oreal ever pure. there are others, you just have to look for them

  • Did you relax your hair right before?

  • No, I haven't had a relaxer for almost 10 months.

  • are you going to do another video on keratin? or are you done

  • Not sure, I think I may do another video on keratin on another person though

  • Can the BKT loosen curls or does it just make the hair straight?

  • I loosens the curls, but it makes it much easier to flat iron.

  • could you show some pics of your dry hair before and after bkt? thanks so much for your help. i'm considering this and have been doing a lot of reading.

  • thanks alot for ur video just i hv a question after u made the treatment and then u wash ur hair the first time ur hair stay soft and straight no more curly ?and ur hair looks really great :)

  • When I washed my hair it was verrry soft but I only lost about 75% of my curl, which is still good because my hair is healthier.

  • Where can you purchase the treatment at? The Dominican Salon I go too wanted me to pay $400!!!!! I want to try the treatment but not for that price I would not go over $100 and that is a strong maybe even with that.

  • Oh my GOD!!!!!!!!!! I love the results. Girl tell me right now where did u buy it from???? And how long did it last (idk how long its been since u got it). Did it stay straight after u washed your hair??

And did your hair go back to natural after the 2-5 months??

I want to get it but i know that im gonna want my curls back later on, too so i hope its not permanent permanent.

So since u did it yourself where did u buy the kit and how muc?? how long did it take to do the whole thing

  • Thank you so much. I am actually getting my natural curls back now. I wash my hair often. I am going to tdo the treatment again next week. It takes a few applications before the treatment will last longer. But I LOVE this treatment!

  • did u do it yourself? and if so did u follow any instruction on how to use the prodct

  • Yes I did it myself. Yes I followed the directions, for the treatment.
