  • Nice rims

  • Ok, 2 questions.

send me the direct link you got your upgrades from.

and also, what kind of scope do you have?

  • Shot it trrolol

  • hahaha

a i have no pin in mine hahha i have a vsr-10-agm! hahahaa

  • @TheGermanshepherd101 the AGM vsr-10 is a clone of the TOKYO MARUI vsr-10 the agm is made to be upgraded

  • Can you use a spring for an AEG gearbox to upgrade this rifle.

  • @Target83916 Nope

  • @Target83916 no..look up angel custom pss10 on evike.com

  • @Target83916 nope

  • dude i removed the cylinder head with my fingers

  • @The96Archer Do you have a Tokyo Marui?

  • @chaoswithinthed no i dont

  • Thanks mate, helped my out a lot!

  • excellent video, well done, good job, if you think of any other positive comments say them to yourself! 6/5

  • somebody please help me! I want the bar 10 and want to upgrade it. If i get a Metal spring guide, cylinder head, and new spring but keep the rest of the gun stock, will it break the gun?

  • @madman32120 Yeah, you need reinforced sears OR a Zero Trigger which includes them

  • thumbs up if you were feeling good till you saw the end...

  • do you know what parts i have to put on my vsr10 g-spec if i want about 560fps?

  • @bunnybossable Alot. Zero Trigger, Spring, Metal Spring Guide, Laylax Cylinder, Cylinder Head.

  • Does this guide work with the Tokyo Marui VSR-10 G-Spec?

  • @iclimbedmtndew Yes

  • where can i buy an upgraded spring and piston for the gun? cant seem to find any

  • @iiiooo0 Airsoft GI has many VSR 10 parts

  • @iiiooo0 AirsoftAtlanta, oversees have good deals too.

  • @chaoswithinthed

which spring, springguide and piston did you use for the upgrade?

  • Americans always have to go over the top with things. I.e Drill. wtf do you need a drill for ? you can remove the piston head without the flacking drill and a hammer. Really? is there any need?

  • @connormcj25 No, with some cylinders there is a pin in the side of it that will not allow you to take the cylinder head off. Mine is like that. Do some reasearch before talking. Your an idiot.

  • @ReconAirsoftFaction Ok fair enough, point taken. now resit key stage 2 spelling/grammar before trying to insult someone. verstanden

  • @connormcj25 On the Tokyo Mauri VSR-10 you literally could not remove it. There was a pin keeping you from removing the cylinder head. I actually had to use a Drill PRESS on mine.

  • @connormcj25 Nice, profiling a whole country by a video on youtube

  • You know there's a point in where the handle is you stick an Allen wrench in there and the handle screws out.... There are professionals vids out there example Airsoftgi has a guide about it

  • Umm no thanx I'm not breaking my gun

  • OMG U TWATS IT BROKE MY GUN ARGGGG!!!!!!!!!!! WHEN I SHOOT THE BB JUST DROPS OUT MY GUN NOW I HAVE TO PAY £150 TO FIX IT (CRY)

  • Just trying to do mine but I have broke one of the screws that hold the stock in place so I will have to by a new screw now but the hardest part is getting in the the cylinder I can't do it so I will try again tomorrow i can't wait for when it is finished

  • did the upgrade break any parts of your gun??? I need an Answer!!

  • i brought a new spring and double sealed piston head . now my m50 (same gun as in vidoe )is firing at 570 fps so make sure your upgrades will still allow you to use the gun at your game sites

  • I was upgrading my VSR 10 yesterday and for some reason the little switch that releases the bolt assembly would not come out, so I attempted working on it by removing the barrel. I was able to get my new spring in, but a small plastic ring fell out, I didn't expect, and don't know what to do with it, but it is obviously important because the entire bolt locks up when I try testing it. I've tried everything I can think of, and I can't get the bolt working. Any thoughts?

  • @Voltage767

Ya, it goes in between the main receiver and outer barrel where it screws together. It's a spacer.

  • tyvm dude, when i ge the gun and parts and tools ill do it lol

ah well, money money money eh?

  • Did the new spring break any parts to your gun????

  • lol what you said about the mag catch, i have the HFC model, (btw it's exactly the same model and design as the gun is this video) and my mag catch popped right off, took me 2 solid hours 2 bfind the little spring, then i could'nt find instruction manual to show the right way to insert back into the frame, after like 3 1/4 hours (iterally!) i had it back on1 be extremely careful when disasembling! just a warning...

  • can it take jg bar10 parts

  • @skaterookie how much did all those upgrades cost?

  • You don't have to drill through the hole at all. All you have to do is look on the piston head and you see two little indents all you have to do is take a pair of pliers and stick each tip in the indents and twist and the piston head will come off.

  • @JAB3parkour yeah, i put an allan key in the hole and just unscrewed it by using the top against the force of the twist.

  • @JAB3parkour

For the older TM models you did. That pin went between the cylinder and the cylinder head, it would not open without taking it out.

  • I usually take my cylinder head off with my hands. It's not too hard unless it's greasy

  • did the sope rings come with the gun or rifle?

  • where would i be able to get a stronger spring for this gun?

  • @johnnyownsu Evike.com is the way to go there is a spring of 500+FPS !!! i have it in mine it is awesome!

  • @skaterookie where can iget it, and how is the gun out of the box?

  • @mikethenascarfan the gun is a great BEGINER Gun like for backyard or not cqc but not far away you have to put many upgrades so this gun ca be good yu have to upgrade the

    -Spring

    -Piston

    -Cylinder

    -barrel spacers

    -Zero trgger kit

    -spring guide

I have all these and it shoots about 650 fps with .30

  • @skaterookie hi, thinking about gettin this just saw ur comment wondering what i would need to get it to shoot about 450 with .30

  • @ConsumeYourSoul619 a spring ,a spring guide ,and a cilynder/piston or about 120$

  • @skaterookie yes it is a good beginer gun but it IS for long range the range is 200-230 feet

  • great vid dude! helped alot

  • WTF do u need the fucking hole for!?!?!?!?!??!

  • @voss97 they piston head is kept on by a small piece of metal if you dont drill tht piece off you cant upgrade it or get piston head off

  • does this gun have a metal or plastic hop up

  • i hace a all standard vsr replica would it be ok if i put a 170 spring , a upgraded new high pressure piston , a new spring guide , and a laylax piston sear ???? and all the other bits kept standard would that be ok ???? pplease help

  • thanks so much man just changed my spring to a 400 cant wait

  • urs looks just like mine and does the butt of ur sniper smell like burnt wood

  • wtf u have to drill into your gun!!!!!!!!!!! what the hell!

  • do you no if this will work on a vsr 10 g spec

  • @gjturbo666 yes, it works - VSR 10 and the VSR 10 G-Spec have equal cylinders and other components (=

  • whay spring did you upgrade it to?

  • Lol, by comparing this video to a BAR-10 upgrade video, you can totally see why the JG BAR-10 is so cheap to buy :D

The BAR-10's metal internals look like that crappy metal that itches and bends easily (on, I'm not refering to lead, lead doesn't itch :P), while the TM VSR-10 has what seems to be aluminium internals?

Also look at those plastic parts in the piston.

The JG has this sort or... greenish-yellow, semi-translucent, scorch-marked crap...

BTW, does anyone know if G&P M14 DMR is good?

  • what it really happen after if im doing this?

  • you know when you screw the cyclinder head back on, isn't that where some people put on teflon tape?

  • I've "upgraded" mine. Installed piston, spring (130 and 150 SP), spring guide, sears etc. Everything I am reading that needs to be improved for a higher fps. I was aiming

for 400/450 fps but the gun doesn't seem to fire more than a consistent 360 fps.

(same fps with both new springs). Am I missing something obvious? Everything lubed up nicely. Can't seem to detect any obvious sounds of airleaks though I have not done anything to airseal it further as I wouldnt know how to.

  • @Zerg82 150 might not be enough if you have a TM, JG guns get a much higher FPS out of the box than TM, maybe that's why they can get it so high with a simple powerplant upgrade (the bolt assembly) my TM VSR 10 is coming in shortly, at least i hope so because transportation is suffering major delays in europe =( i've already got a lot of parts for it though...the only parts i will not change: reciever, stock, Hop-up unit and the trigger box, altough i have reinforced sears.

    grtz to all

  • @Zerg82 I wouldn't know why it WOULD give such an incredible increase in the first place. All you do is allow an extra 1 or 2 cm's of air to flow to the barrel before the airbrake starts.

By the way, if you'd cut away the entire rod, you'd ruin the airbrake, so your gun would make a very loud smack every time you shoot and the piston rams into the cylinder-head.

The only thing that I can imagine coming from that is that you're gonna ruin both and have to buy new ones...

  • Whats the point of the pin in the gun?

  • thats not a tm vsr

  • @wynnebros its the real shock version. i have it too

  • hay thanks for the vid ive had so much trnble trying to up grade my vsr 11 as its now 6 or 7 years old and now cums out at 200 fps so now its upgrade time haha and i would recomend thit rilfe to any sniper ive been able to get about 10 ft from target and thay dont hear the shoot

  • very usefull thx

  • Thank you for a very informative and useful video.

Very helpfull for me as I prepare to dismantle & upgrade for the first time. (VSR)

  • hay can you do the same thing with a AGM because i cant get the little switch to take out the bolt

  • Do u know where I can buy a better spring to improve the fps on my agm mp001?

  • nice vid man gonna help me when i get my gun XD

  • Or just unscrew the cylinder head..

  • @BlitzedBitc you can't just do that with the vsr 10 model

  • the only reason i watched this was to find out how to take the gun apart so thanks

  • does it work with the agm mp001

  • mm, if som1 would help over here.

just a offtop topic kinda, but what all i need to install M150 Spring to my HFC vsr-11, so it work properly? the spring oviosly, maybe sylinderhead, and some other shit? please advice the stupid.

    (budject is mostly under 100€)

  • Umm.. i dont know much about HFC things but if your budject is under 100 euros i think u can´t get reliable gun, sorry man.

  • Alguien me puede decir para que ha usado el taladro?..por favor

  • dude my hats off to you, thanks for the vid. searching for abit looking for a good how to.. mad props. ty

  • The jg bar 10 is sooooo much easier to disasemble. But it isnt a marui...... :,(

  • i realy dont wanna drill a hole in my piston or bolt! is there any other way??

  • @TheGuitarguy321 i agree but u could buy another bolt but i can only find the laylax ones which are £99 abouts

  • Or you can find a better spring and put it in

  • it unscrews on my VSR-10

  • does the same springs work with well mb03 (upgrade)

  • @Airsmoke99 The same springs should work with most guns, the main reasons guns can't handle springs is because of the gearbox. Any spring under 600 fps should work in a well. You may need a new piston and spring guide, too, depending on the fps of the gun. Systema pistons and spring guides are recommended.

  • nice guide

  • You know he drilled a hole in it? What happens to that hole? Do you refill it or leave it when you ad a tougher spring?

  • @Greataardvark I refilled it!

  • @Vili738 Thought so or the air would rush out (:

Ive done a tightbore upgrade in mine with a 6.01 and i can tell it was worth it, the range goes up so much :) such a great gun i recomend a tightbore and a 120 spring its fine with just that O_O

Can you recomend a decent lube for the internals?

    Cheers

  • the hole is just to remove a pin thats put in there t hold the piston head on. you dont need it

  • UR AWESOME!!!

  • 2:58 halarious, ON!

  • What do pistons and sears do can't I just get a new spring

  • HELPED ME ALOT! TY 5/5

  • can someone please tell me this: If i want to upgrade my vsr g-spec to fire with higher velocity, what parts do i need to change? the spring, the piston or what?

  • @Doogung you will need, a spring, a piston, a cylinder head, trigger and piston sear, and ideally a tightbore barrel, then lube it all.

  • thanks!

  • ON!

  • i have a bar 10 and when i put my sears in and reassembled it the bolt no longer catches but just slams back into place and doesnt cock it wats wrong

  • @MrBeaverwarrior its 1 of 2 things

1: your trigger assembly isnt in all the way, the fix is to tighten it

2: your trigger sear is stripped, fix is to buy a new trigger sear and install it

  • Does this work for the AGM VSR 10?

  • @beevus1445 Did you find out cus i was thinking of getting that gun

  • NOTE:if you have the JG bar-10 there is no pin and the drill parts is not needed.

  • Yeah, but what affect does that have on the gun? Does the range go up? Does the FPS go up?

  • How does this work? thanks

  • What EXACTLY does this do in regard to power, accuracy and range?

  • which is better tm vsr 10 gspec or just the plain one?

  • @wynnebros

I think that the vsr 10 is better because of the innter barrel legth for more accuracy. The gspec is also good because its silenced but a little less accurate than the vsr 10. i would go with the vsr 10 pro edition. Hoped this Helped.

  • only difference in 1 has a built in silencer one doesnt.

  • Nice vid,

btw TM VSR is FULLY compatible with JG's BAR-10,I have one my self..

  • @Razarms i have the agm vsr 10 its compatable with that too

  • What parts of the gun were the upgraded ones

  • hey, im planning to buy a upgraded cylinder for my vsr-10, but one says VC cylinder and the other says HD cylinder. How do i know which one i have??

  • is this the same thing as an agm vsr10?

  • the agm's a clone, so I guess; don't know how the agm does performance wise

  • what happens if take safety off from weapon? =)

  • Comment removed

  • Would you have to drill the cylinder head if I am upgrading ALL of the internals? Like the whole cylinder, cylinder head, spring, spring guide, zero trigger, tight bore, everything? Can I just skip this drilling step? And install all the upgrades right then and there without having to do the drilling?

  • No, if you change the cylinder, but in most cases you have to replace the stock because the cylinder wont fit in it, and you dont need to drill it out, at least i didint drill it from my vsr-10 and I just used a drill hole marker (dont now the exact english word) and just hammered the seal in.

  • OK cool thanks.

  • I am a japanese. So , i do not understand English well. So, I do not understand , where Upgrade this gun.

Please tell me where Upgrade this gun.

  • new spring!! long spring!! :D

  • Thanks for your answer! I understand that ! English is difficult for me(≧▽≦)

  • you welcome :D

  • is it plastic or wood?

  • its like a carbon fiber very strong material but it like stenciled or painted

  • Shitty plastic

  • does anyone know where i can get the screws for the stock

  • lol, i made the mistake of putting the spring in past the spring guide, you'll know if you did or not even without looking cause nothing on the entire gun will work afterwards XD

  • Hey Great Tutorial! I was Wondering if you could tell me where you go your replacement stock for you gun, mine broke and i was just wondering, PLEASE HELP!

  • doesnt that spring can create enough force to break the spring guide????????

  • Taking no sides here, but a stock well L96 is better then a tm vsr-10, in everyway, except in durability. but tm has more aftermarket parts and ends up being better. personally i like both guns, but the tm is way better after being worked on for a few weeks :D well L96 stock has a higher fps then tm stock btw

  • Tm VSR is ALOT lighter in wieght aswell.

  • wrong really. the warrior just has better range due to fps. Tm vsr has better accuracy and is much more reliable and upgradeable

  • 99% of Accuracy is based on the shooter. It is actually an accepted fact that Stock the Well L96 will clock in at a higher FPS than a TM VSR.

What saves the VSR is the fact it has so much more in terms of After Market Parts

  • wtf i know the warrior has a higher fps...i just said that. And yes you have to be a good shooter to be accurate. But if you strap the guns to a table and fired 10 shots the VSR would have better groupings if the range is achiveable for both vsr and l96

  • what store can i find a new spring?

  • go online stores have nothin

  • and btw great tutorial, could you do a tightbore barrel one?

  • anyone know if this works as weel for the Black eagle M6 rifle?

  • Dude in a way this helped me fix my gun because i didnt take the piston out of the rod thing and that is what fixed it so thx

  • you can do all of this but the spring part you do not have to have a new spring all you do is take the spring and pull on both ends until it is longer and this will give you a lot more FPS all though doing this mite make it hard to put the cylinder head back on which all you have to do is press down harder on it

  • That wouldnt be a permanent upgrade, would it? I think after a while the spring would compress back down.

  • wow TM sucks..... WELL pwns i"m trying not to be an ass but WELL made theirs to be able to be modded u can totally skip the drill bit part and WELLS u just unscrew the little bronze deal put in Ur spring and vualla oh and ps WELLS mag catch/lock is screwed into place so thirs no worry on that bit

  • and WELL is made in china and dose not have quality control and have crap internals.

  • ... do you know toykyo mauri is japanees and made there..... ive dropped my friends tm and it shatterd the bolt and stripped the bolts that held id togeather..... P>O>S in my opinion i have dropped my well 20 ft ( i was on a plat form sniping) absolutley nothin!

  • and im sure i could make a hunk of metal survive that fall. durability doesn't make a gun. i'm no tm fan but well is crap.

  • ur only saying WELL pwns coz ur poor and cant affored marui - it could also be a sign of sadness and a way of dealing with the fact that you wanted a marui and couldnt affored it so u ordered a gun made by WELL

  • ...... mauri cost 100$ my well cost 200 dollars and is 510-580 fps yours???

  • Actualy a TM VSR costs £170 and recently got voted by people on Arnies Airsoft the best sniper rifle out there Mine is worth £700 and shoots at 600 fps - the legeal limit for Britain

  • quality over fps.

  • This mod guide is FULLY compatible with the Bar-10. You can get every part made for VSR-10 to upgrade the Bar-10. Also the aforementioned pin that need to be drilled to access the cylinder only needs to be drilled to just below the surface of the cylinder so that you can screw the cylinder head off. Hope this helps.

  • Come on dude!dont spread you`re methods of taking down a vsr!your method is too crude...i think.

    just keep it to yourself.

  • isn't the little thing, you drill out, supposed to be able to come back in?

  • Nah, it's noit

  • well how straight does the bullet fly ? and how far?

  • how much does it the FPS by?

  • How long must I drill this fucking pin?

    5 mm?

  • I would say less. like 2mm maybe.
