This is a really cruel show - but IMO so are the people who told her she had real talent, setting her up to fail, wrapping her up in cotton wool, instead of preparing her to cope with real life situations. Not laughing when I say this, because I don't think it's funny: she's clearly got a learning disability - why would anyone laugh at that?

If u drop the baton regularly u shouldnt even have tried out for the show. think about it. she said herself that she dropped it 20 times in 30 comps. She clearly lacks the training. did u notice that she never said wat place she got? suspicious much? she doesnt even smile! thats one of the most basic things ANYONE should know. Even if she didnt drop the baton, she wouldnt have gotten in. sorry but dam 11 years.... she pretty bad!

Wow, spiritman - do you know this girl? How strange that you would want to put this up like it's funny. I've met her, and she is utterly lovely - 100% devoted to helping others. It's so painful to see her here, shyly silent and humiliated. Maybe she was naive to have thought she wouldn't be mocked, but in my opinion this is good TV gone bad.

@greenbananavisions I completely agree. she comes across as someone who is shy and vulnerable and its really unpleasant to watch her being humiliated. That asshole at the start who recites song some sing for her to finish and then leaves a big "comedy" pause, that was maybe one of the saddest, meanest and most uncomfortable things I have seen on youtube. I really hope that girl is still baton twirling.

lots of posters here don't seem to understand what goes on at BGT auditions.

if this girl lacks confidence at auditions - regardless of how good she is - that's JUST how the producers want it (to fit in between 'talented and idiot').

she was waved through to fit into a section of the prog. known as 'the humiliation bit'. entertaining, right? (family member in tv production confirms this).

not for me.

LOL ive done twirling for 4 years and im better then her. ive won nationals and i have way over 30 medals LOL <3 she is real crap not being big headed or anything but its the truth. she aint even got her freearm straight, and the key to winning is smiling :/

I felt so sorry for her. My key-worker is friends with this girl. She said she finally got the confidence to do this, but ended up losing confidence on stage. And who can blame her, really? It's not an easy thing to do in front of so many people.

BGT is great 90% of the time but they really get it wrong sometimes. That just across as nasty and mean spirited. Its ok taking the piss out of ignorant/arrogant people but when its someone whos a bit vunrable and is not in on the joke it just looks like bullying. That was very uncomfortable to watch. Particlaury that dickhead presenter at the start.

I get that feeling too. But I guess it's nothing personal about her looks etc and is directed at what she does (or can't do!). Knowing that she drops the baton 20 times on average, it's a little naive if she didn't expect laughs for this one!

well... yeah spiritmanproductions I agree a little with you on that, maybe if she wasnt ready yet for a big show like britains got talent she shouldnt audition because it would happen what occur on the video she failed on her the act, the judges were very harsh on her and everybody made fun of her. But i thought she wasnt that bad all she needs is a little more practice to dominate her talent.

Before you refer to somebody as a pit full of copulating donkeys, consider how difficult it is to convey tone in a text conversation. My comment was tongue-in-cheek, so I used a smiley that I felt was a reasonable approximation of that sentiment.

I agree with Spiritman. Anyone who goes on this show shoukd be prepared for criticism. She's not as good as a lot of high school band twirlers I've seen. Just compare Sarah to Craig Wormersley, who captured the hearts of the audience & judges, just barely missing the finals.

Oh, I haven't seen this act before...I don't know. If she is aware that she drops the stick lots of times then why she is going to the show? there are so many answers to that and none of them are favourable apart from the one about her having fun which she is not...
