Jason, in case you read this i'm going to take it nice and slow. When you ask people questions, it's clear that deep down you want people to just say "yes" and walk away. If you ever interview yourself, that will happen. If you don't it will never happen. Pass the mic my friend.
"but don't question her patriotism"? the message here is, if you criticize you are a traitor. If it wasn't for the founding fathers criticizing the crown then the USA wold not exist. Right wing fascists don't allow people to speak their mind, if you disagree then you are wrong, you are a traitor, you are weak. People like this make me sick.
Jason was making that female in the beginning of the clip fall asleep. That's pretty funny to me. You can tell by her answer and the fact she looked for help from her buddy that she hasn't heard the other side. She is riding the bandwagon.
Wow. The American government is more dangerous than Amandinnerjacket or whatever his name is, and don't question her patriotism. Yeah, as long as she's Iranian. Only problem is that if she were Iranian, she'd be dead.
if you use the term islamofascists it implies that their fascism comes from their religion. Islam has nothing to do with their fascism so why use the term islam to describe them? Its the same as saying deist truck bombers. Being a deist has nothing to with destroying APM Building. so why not use a more specific term that, say describes where they are from. Being Italian is clearly not an ideology so its hard to infer that they were fascists because they were Italian.
"if you use the term islamofascists it implies that their fascism comes from their religion." True - and it does. The Islamist facists base their facism on their reading of the Koran. It's not like they are facists that just happen to be Muslims - they are facists precisely because they think it is required by their religion.
do you think they are fascists because of islam or that they just use islam to justify theyre actions. The two are very different. Why is the koran any more fascist than other religious (abrahamic) texts. Many old religious texts condone things that today would be considered fascist.
"Why is the koran any more fascist than other religious (abrahamic) texts." Because Islam demands to be part of government. Separation of church and state is foreign to the Muslim world. Would the Islamofacists be facists without Islam? Maybe, but Islam gives them lots of support for imposing their views on others by force. Mohammed did.
Hello? any text that says we should follow an all knowing, all powerful, single being is clearly politically fascist. Now id rather not debate you point for point on this one, but if you show me some fascist sections from the koran ill show you as many from the bible. (i think were both much too mature for that though, dont you?)
"Hello? any text that says we should follow an all knowing, all powerful, single being is clearly politically fascist." No - the key word is POLITICALLY. In the New Testament, Jesus says render to Caesar what is Caesar's. There is nothing equivalent in the Koran. Islam intends to provide a complete system of living, including politics and law (Sharia).
In Kartoum, a non-Muslim is under arrest for blasphemy - how facist is that?
do you believe in complete separation of church and state? because if you (like me) do, then you are greatly outnumbered by the millions of evangelical christians in america who believe there should be no seperation of church and state.
"then you are greatly outnumbered by the millions of evangelical christians in america who believe there should be no seperation of church and state."
Completely false. There is virtually ZERO support for a theocracy in the US. No person of any stature supports abandoning civil law for 'God's law' or abolishing elections in favor of allowing religious leaders to rule. That only happens in Muslim countries now.
come on. you know as well as i do that there is a struggle in america between the constitution and evangelicals who advocate prayer in schools, displaying the 10 commandments in public places etc. And how can you say that only muslim countries have theocratical aspects when we are all aware of one of the US's biggest allies; israel.
"Its pretty well academically accepted fact that christianity has had just as violent a history as islam." By Islamic apologists, I am sure.
More importantly: where is the religiously inspired violence now? Who issues orders to kill infidels? Who praises their God while crashing airplanes into buildings?
I'd rather worry about commandments than about being blown up. Silly comparison.
Firstly, it is very foolish to look at any event, world or local, without context and secondly, people in the east and islamic world, do view the invasion of iraq/afganistan and the support for israel as religiously motivated. People on TV are always going on about the US being a "christian nation", well thats probably how people in the middle east view it. I mean, george bush even said god told him to go into iraq and refered to it as a crusade.

Fascism-"A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism."
Consider this, a major characteristic of fascism is that only one view is allowed and all others are ruthlessly silenced, frequently by violence or threat of violence.
Gilchrist was forced off the stage by the left at Columbia. Who's fits the definition of fascist in that situatuion, Gilchrist or the left?
Neither! Fascism is when the government combines with industry like in Mussolini's Italy. It can't be applied to the small time situation of some outburst at a college speech.
The Muslim people we're fighting in Iraq should just be called soldiers.
It's like that song lyric in West Side Story, "When you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way."
Please don't whine that the little fascists at Columbia aren't really fascist.
Soldier were uniforms, those who do not are in violation of the Geneva Convention, something you little fascists never worry about. Why? Because you hate America.
Soldier fight other soldier, they don't target civilians. Again a violation you America haters gloss over.
Soldier doesn't mean like hero or man of courage, it means someone who's fighting for a people, like in a war, and if this is a war we're fighting in Iraq, then there has to be soldiers on both sides. The Nazis had soldiers. I don't care about uniforms and geneva conventions, all right
People who do not follow the laws of war, who do not carry their weapons openly, who do not wear uniforms get civilians killed. The Geneva Convention has as an objective, the protection of civilians.
When you say you don't care about uniforms and the Geneva Conventions then you endorse war crimes by war criminals. You are an accessory to war crimes, that makes you a war criminal.
I see no great reason to add Islamofacist to our vocabulary because I don't see it adding great value to our language. In fact, I'd say it detracts from it, because there is no clear definition, and in my opinion would functionally serve us no better than a stereotype.
Liberals "feel" so they don't "feel" the need to clearly define terms so that everyone communicates clearly. They don't want to face unpleasant facts, so avoid clearly defining the problem, in the hope someone else will deal with it.
Why do we have to apply a particular stereotype to people so that we may reason about them. THERE'S NO NEED TO APPLY LABELS! There is no unless you have VERY clear and insightful definitions. I have no problem calling Osama Bin Ladin a fascist because my beliefs about him seem to match the literal definition. But where do you set the boundary? The boundary ought to be clearly visible (for most practical purposes) from the definition to have any practical value.
That rabbi is kick ass. Ahmadinejad is not a fascist, atleast he isn't part of any terrorism. jews, chrisians, and muslims live in relative peace there. It would take 5 years for him to even try to have nuclear weapons. Where as Israel already has them. Israel isn't as peachy as you people think it is and THATS THE REAL PROBLEM HERE, is that you think Israel is being bullied. Israel is run by people that shouldn't even be called jews. They're racist zionists.
FUCK WHY CAN'T ANY OF THESE FUCKING MORONS READ THE READ THE KORAN? The True Islam is the Islam of the Prophet Muhammed, War, Rape, slavery and murder that is true Islam.
Wow, this is shocking. All of these people were so afraid to say anything that might offend the terrorists, yet none of them could articulate their point. Rather than condem terrorism they played the moral equivalence game, especially the priest. I can't believe that was a real priest.
Can I home school my kids all the way through college?
Wow, I wonder what you think of of the bible, particularly the Old testament. After all, Lot would rather have his daughters raped than have two random people claiming to be angels raped. Not to mention when the daughters try to get Lot drunk so he can screw them and they can carry his seed? (forgive me if I've gotten some stories mixed up.) I mean, WTF?
This video is great. It puts a face on the group-thinkers of the left. Clearly, the only reason they get involved in politics is because it is the "cool" thing to do. They don't even know why they are protesting. It is so much easier to blatantly shout at someone than to engage in meaningful dialogue.
These people who think Islam and Mohammad's example do not teach anti-semitism and violence have not read the Koran or are in complete denial. These people think that addressing the realities of Islamo-fascists today is going to somehow sabotage the dialogue with Muslims. Then what kind of constructive dialogue could they possibly be having!?

I suppose this is a bit of political correctness but, tensions high as they are, maybe it's for the best.
Yes, but the one thing all the terrorists have in common is that they claim to be Muslims. People in Saudia Arabia, as the rabbi purports, are not the only islamofascists. Look at Indonesia. Or, for a more suprising discovery, look at Europe. You have Islamofascists all across Europe. So the issue is not cultural; it is religious.

I love how all these interviewees of Mr Mattera sluff him off with the absurdity of his inquiry. I have no doubt that Mr Mattera cares deeply for this country and the troops, but when he insists on trying to announce that "America can do no evil" and "Arabs who hate us deserve to be warred against," he routinely shows that his simple mind is unable to comprehend simple issues. RESPECT IRAN AND THEY WILL DO THE SAME TO US.
"Respect Iran and they will do the same to us"? Maybe you are too young to remember US President Jimmy Carter aiding Ayatollah Khomeini's take over of Iran in 1979. In return, the US embassy was illegally invaded and our people held hostage for 444 days. Poor, deluded Carter showed respect to Iran and is still a laughing stock. Try this instead "Show respect to Iran and they will make fools of us again."
grammasusan, You lying fuck. The Shaw of Iran was a DICTATORSHIP. WE (USA) overthrew a DEMOCRATIC NATION and installed the SHAW DICTATOR. WE ALWAYS SUPPORT THE DICTATOR OVER DEMOCRACY. Please take the time to learn about you nation and its fascist ways.
Gram: I know about the incident. The US embassy was invaded because we would not hand over the Shah to the Iranians as they had requested. I am not excusing them for their ways, but you have to concede that the Iranians really hated us for how we exploited them for so long. I say, let's try and start things over with the Iranian people and build a new friendship with them. Sure, the current Iranian president is crazy, but let's engage the people, not him.
I have great respect for the Iranian people and maintain contact with several brave Iranians who hate the current government and speak of the greater freedom they had under the government of the Shah. I have received photos and phone videos of atrocities committed against women and dissidents. How can you show respect for a regime that has come from the pits of hell?
Many in the Islamic world of today, have no interest in a world wide domination by muslims. Living side by side with Christians and Jews, the modern day moslem, as in Turkey and in Kazan Russia, are more common, much more common, than those who want Islam to dominate the world. Those dying, at the behest of others, are ignorant, crazy people. Those who send them out to kill are crazy barbarians with no fear and no shame.
Islam had a tumultuous beginning. The records in the Koran document the struggle for life amongst the followers of Muhammed. I am sort of Islamic myself, sore of Christian, and sort of zen. Those who kill indiscriminately in the name of Islam are not Islamic at all therefore to object to the term Islamo-fascist is kind of understandable to me.
This is great video. It shows we're living in an age where people are so damn scared to identify our enemies in fear of offending every living entity on the planet. It's pretty sickening. These are the people quick to blame the US, evolving societies, etc, but will not point out the clear and present danger.

You seem to think religion is practiced like the (so called) prophets/messiahs taught them.
Did Christ teach anything about crusades? Are Christians really supposed to be war mongers, shouting out "hurras" for fighter planes in Colorado churches? I think not.
Kudos to Jason Mattera of YAF, Michelle Malkin of Hot Air, David Horowitz and all those involved in this project. It is pathetic to see so many bend over to Islamofascism just for the sake of "tolerance." Wise people do not promote the tolerance of totalitarian and supremacist ideology.
You would never see the depth of understanding from these people say at a pro life rally. The hoops they jump through to appear "tolerant" of religious beliefs would never apply in that case. If Islamic groups killed abortion doctors these people would somehow blame the Pope.
This really made my day. I mean, I never expected those Left-Wing Crazies to have any sort of coherent arguement but I actually thought they were smarter that THAT! I guess, when you have such backward views, your defense of them makes you come of as underdeveloped.
How can Islam condemn terrorism? Mohammed was Islam's first terrorist, and Muslims strive to be like Mohammed. They are simply following Mohammeds example. Mohammed proclaimed on his death bed. "I have been made victorious with terror"(Bukhari, Vol 4,52 #220)

The US government? Thats the biggest threat to that woman?

These Muslim extremists didn't "hijack" the religion. They are doing exactly what Mohammad wanted them to do and what the original Muslims did.
PrinceBaldric 4 years ago 10
You seem to think religion is practiced like the (so called) prophets/messiahs taught them.
Did Christ teach anything about crusades? Are Christians really supposed to be war mongers, shouting out "hurras" for fighter planes in Colorado churches? I think not.

Kudos to Jason Mattera of YAF, Michelle Malkin of Hot Air, David Horowitz and all those involved in this project. It is pathetic to see so many bend over to Islamofascism just for the sake of "tolerance." Wise people do not promote the tolerance of totalitarian and supremacist ideology.
cbrimmer 4 years ago 8
