despite what happens, many of my demographic (I'm a 24 yr old USF student) support Ron Paul which I believe means the future of our country is in good hands. Florida is a state with many elders and they have a different mentality from the younger generations so I doubt Paul will win here either. The thing about Paul though, it's not him as a person we want. He represents an idea, an idea all of us have. But one man is not going to change our world, we are.

@wojovox I have to say, I greatly appreciate the intelligence and the enthusiasm I'm seeing from Ron Paul's young supporters. It makes me feel a lot more confident about our future. And Ron Paul would not reach as many people if it weren't for the ability of young people to spread the word through technologies that I admittedly don't use in my daily life. The reason y 30 and younger are the only supporters out there are because they haven't lived long enough to watch the government slam us down enough times to give up protesting, but that doesn't mean the older generation doesn't believe in the cause they just gave up on trying.... I just have to say I'm proud of the younger generation. I'm pushing 40 and there are few I know in my age group that even research the candidates. It's even worse with my parents generation...the majority of them are like robots and are trained into believing its their duty to vote, so they show up to vote on whatever party they are affiliated with and whoever is the most popular.

I have only voted once in my life and that was when jr Bush ran. I believe they were puppets of the ruling elite and they always make all these promises to get votes and then when in office they don't follow through with most if not all of their promises.
