  • Wonderful

  • i hope that when morrisey is 95 years old he can still tour! EAST LOS ANGELES, CA, USA blesses ISRAEL. HAPPY HANUKKAH! SHALOM

  • magnifique

  • must feel great to perform this far from your home and get this type of reaction

  • It gave me goosebumps too.I wish I was there!

  • This is what doing things with passion and heart means.

  • oh Morrisey what a lovely God Bless you, both times. Oh he's so sweet.

  • GranDioso!

  • for people saying they would wish the crowd would be quiet so you can hear him sing...

are you mental? it gave me goosebumps hearing everyone sing the words back to him.

When i got to a gig theres nothing better to me than hearing 10,000 people sing the words.

  • Right On Steeshlad!

I saw Morrissey (on this particular tour if memory serves) in Royal Oak, Michigan. He did all of his classics (Smiths & Morrissey) and the crowd was so silent and unmotivated that it totally rained on what should have been an excellent evening.

I wish I was in Israel for this show! Now this what a Morrissey show is all about...energy, enthusiasm, camaraderie, and most of all...truly enjoying the music! :)

  • I saw him live twice already, but never heard this song. If I ever hear it live, I'll be a very happy man.

  • how many shirts fo you have Moz !...

    YOUR GREAT

  • take me anywhere dont care

  • perfect

  • Great video! Thanks. Everybody is singing it out loud, wish i could be there :(

  • well jealous i went to o2 wireless and he didnt sing this song... light that never goes out rocks... and i would of probs died if he played it lol

  • Thanks for the clip - the sound isn't the best (understandably), but the atmosphere you've captured is incredible - I've never seen better. If a clip can convey this, what must it have been like being there! Seems like Israelis are great music fans!

  • Awesome video. What a wonderful lyrics! Morrissey rocks.

  • i wanna cry

    it was to perfect

  • so*

  • indeed!

  • no he's not

  • this singer has a wonderful voice but sorry is RIKKION'S

  • he's lapsed catholic

  • MORRISSEY at his best!.

  • beautiful

  • Morrissey fans are very defensive. Me being one of them.

  • wow morrissey in the holy land- amazing- he looks very at ease and happy with life- great song and great crowd atmosphere- thanks for sharing...

  • I wish the fucking crowd wouldn't sing. I pay to listen to Morrissey not a load of people who can't hold a note!

  • that was the only song where they sang this loud. and that's because it was the only encore and the song that every single person in the crowd was waiting for the most (hence the sign he holds up, if you've noticed). it was a great show

  • Yes I did notice the sign. Glad you enjoyed the show. I'm waiting for an autographed copy of his next album because of a favour I did for him. Shalom.

  • There couldn't have been many foreskins present in the hall THAT evening, apart of course from the one with the microphone.......

  • Ahhh but how do you know that Mozzer has not had the chop? :-P

  • You can listen to Morrissey without a crowd, if you search hard enough he has a few CDs out that are worth a listen.

If I went to a gig where the audience were silent it'd be awful - and I can all but be sure that Morrissey would hate it too (as would any band/singer/artist).

  • Shuddup, that subject is history and been resolved.

  • i've seen Morrissey maybe 25 times, and I have to say, maybe with the exception of a gig at the Ambassadors in Dublin before he released you are the quarry - when was that - 2003, October maybe - he looked like he enjoyed himself more than ever. The crowd were fantastic, much warmer than any I have seen in the UK or Ireland, generally grateful to Morrissey for having come to Israel. Really a great show. I'm sure he played There is a Light as a special treat - he's not been playing it this year.

  • DUH

I KNOW I AM OVER DOING IT...

    that is the whole point

this man means everything to me!

and i dont give a damn if you think badly about me

i am just an OBSESSED FAN WHO WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR THIS MAN...

    nough said

    :D

  • For all the critics, the fact Morrissey is one of the few artists that willingly travels to places like Israel and performs shows, is a solid testament to the man himself... and to think some people once called him racist...

  • Because he says ambiguous things that can easily be depicted as racist. Maybe you should get to know the genius that is Morrissey better.

  • I do know the genius that is Morrissey! I was merely pointing out something. Anybody can interpret lyrics anyway they want.

  • I'm not going on about his lyrics my friend. It's some ambiguous comments he's made in interviews over here. FYI I don't think he's a racist but just a realist. He merely stated in NME recently that England has lost it's identity and the press jumped on him for making racist remarks. I and many others understood him perfectly well. Shalom.

  • Then we're all happy campers :)

  • It was the best show I'e ever seen.

The crowd, the sound, the "Morissey"....

    Amazing!

  • i was seriously crying!

he is so amazing and he is my life, the love of my life

without him, there would be no me...

    he completes me!

i cannot describe my love for this man

    actions speak louder than words

i will always have you in my heart Morrissey

    I LOVE YEW!!

  • Do you not think your overdoin a bit , i think he is great to , but get a life

  • God bless Moz and His chosen people. Moz you are a Godsend. Peace to You my Hero!

  • what an unforgetable night it was.

It started great and continuned maybe too cheerful. and then came the 4 A's:

1.please please please (my only wish)

    2.life is a pigsty

    3.how soon is now

    and last one

    4. there is a lisht that never goes out

    left me stunned.

"he stole all hearts away". indeed.

  • I wish I were there too. I love this guy and I wiould love to know Israel.

  • Oh god, how I wish I was there.

  • hell yes

  • I love him so much!

  • Beautiful!

  • Brilliant!

  • Does anyone have the video from the first song -the last of international playboys?

  • Hello. This was indeed an amazing show and an unforgettable night. I am the one responsible for writing the famous sign which led Moz to sing the Smiths most classic tune. I wish to believe that the sign made many people happy yesterday as Moz does not play this song anymore in his gigs.

I will never forget yesterday and Morrissey is my light that will never go out !

  • i was sure that you knew that this is what they play for encore.if they actually respond to you then this is reallt amazing !

    well done

  • what a night...

  • It was one the best, thank you Morrissey!

  • What a brilliant concert!

  • looks like u guys had fun!!

  • thank you 4 coming!!!

  • i just might die with a smile on my face after all....

    great show!!!

morrissey the one of a kind!!!

  • thank you!!

  • You are were the greatest of them all...

  • Amazing night.

The version for "death of a disco dancer" nearly killed me.

And I was stunned that he sang "sister Im a... poet", took it out of my mind.

  • I had two hopes for last night's concert: stop me and there's a light. after the first wish came true halfway threw the show, I didn't believe the second would too. I saw the sign in the begining of the evening and laughed in my heart at it - but tnx for whoever brought it, surely it brought us the light!

  • Roy made that sign!

    Playboy Roy :)

Morrissey is nearly crying as he looks at the sign and bows!

    Amazing.

  • It was so wonderfull!

  • A night to remember!

    What an Ending!
