  • Nice video!

I agree, more stability is needed, but at least the plane flies slow, and slow crashes mean less damage.

Which camera were you using for the flights, and what is your new camera?

Are you actually flying FPV or recording on the plane?

I've had success in using small nylon bolts and nuts to hold together foam airplane parts. Just bore out a hole for the nut in the fuselage and hot glue it in, then run the screw thrgh the wngs. 3 or 4 should do for you. Not as fast as velcro though.

  • were you at Africa for a Mission trip?

  • @ParkFlyyer Noo, not really. We were there visiting a school there after we became friends with the guy who runs it when he was in Canada. While we were there we were helping out at the school a little bit.

  • Great video. You put a lot of work into it.

  • @jauchiu Thanks, I did go to a lot of effort and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • how about a bigger wing to make it more stable? as far as the velcro, I usually carry a pocket knife and I use it to separate the two velcro pieces rather than just tearing them apart. Using a sawing motion will free them for easy removal. Kind of a pain the butt but it gets the job done.

Great work, can't wait to see what is next.

  • @rele30 You're right, a bigger wing would help a lot. That is a good idea to use a knife, I'll try it.

  • does that wing have any airfoil?

It looks like it is flying like a shockie

  • @popcornreviews Haha, no airfoil. For some reason, I've never had much luck with airfoils...

  • @RCexperimental Have you tried a KF airfoil?

they are pretty simple to do and are very effective on scratchbuilds

  • Be extra careful flying over houses and such. People will get pissed if you ask to climb on their roof.

Try some dihedral in the wings to improve the stability.

  • @nishbrown I'm guessing you learnt that by experience? :) And I will try 'dihedraling' the wings on the next one.

  • @nishbrown Ya I am very hesitant to fly over the neighborhood but I have done it successfully, lucky maybe, but what happens if it goes down in a yard with a giant dog or something?
