I think the minimum difference between locs on each board should be minimum 25cm from the other on last row, i see there are few that got less than? Am I right? and the 1st should be not less than 40 cm long.
I use to be an a Installer 4 Lowes and ur job looks nice cause the floor is new ...But could be better if u run the laminate in the same direction upstairs...and i see the laminate boards cuts very closse to the next stip....U guys are Amateurs....
Why is your floor running different direction in hallway?I would make sure my floors are running same direction throughout the house. Its floating and can run any direction you want.
@Demchenko1 We changed the direction in the hallway to add visual interest to the layout. Many of my customers are landlords with rental properties. In rental properties I use tmoldings in the doorways to "compartmentalize" each area so that future repairs or floor changes are easier & more economical. For example, If a renter thrashes a floor, water damage...we don't have to pull the whole floor and can quickly replace rooms... I agree with you that a better look is to run the floor through
The reason for the tmoldings at the doorways is three fold: #1) For a rental unit...it's imperative that we think long term about keeping costs down. With a t-molding in between each doorway, it'll be much easier and economical to replace/re-do a room should there be any damage #2) the client (an experienced realtor who owns several properties wanted it this way so for reason #1 and to speed up the installation #3) Floating floors don't facilitate flush transitions without tmoldings. Thanks.
I cant believe what I see in here way? so many transitions or thresholds on all the doorways that is very amateur this guys think that they are the best on what they do but really license contractor dont look like it. the correct way is to have all floors flow thru the house with out seems or thresholds or you can change the direction of the floor at the door way but you have to lock both thresholds are used only wen tile or carpet is conecting to the floor.
