  • @ZaCkOX900 Nevermind, the before one was a different setup. You did need the metal contact selector plate. Oh well, ignore my comment. You did a good job. Pat on back.

  • the bset tech l now

  • well done chris!

  • Just realised why my gun wasn't firing- its identical to this and the same with the new trigger set. I needed to add on that metal on the selector plate. If I just put some tin foil between it for a bit would it work?

  • Where do you get new trigger contacts?

  • @CswSavage evike, raptorsairsoft, and airsoftgi all sell them.

  • Well done oddy!! Really enjoyed the series some very useful info. Im surprised how well your gun looks with a few parts. its unreal!!

  • man i love your accent

  • Is it me or HAS he installed a 'fet? extra Blue Wire

  • @dayl3 nope, no mosfet installed,

the wire was the black wire mate, as he used a different wire set to attach the battery,

also he installed a brand new CA wiring harness and only had two wires RED and BLACK, so not gate wire for the mosfet

  • hey oddy did you not think about just getting a mosfet for rate of ire increase aswell

  • @IAirelandairsoft yeah it would increase the rate of fire, but it would also cause more problems if not installed right,

but i think the video is a guide on how to intall normal parts for the average joe airsofter that wants more bang for less work so to speak,

  • @arronfoster17 Problems? Such as?

  • @dayl3 If you wired wrongly inside the gearbox, you will over solder and maybe risk burning the contact plates from overheating , also the motor won't have the ab effect so will still be overspinning with the enhanced current

plus if yo blow the MOSFET you'll need to de wire the fet and check the board sending it off to be fixed or trying to relaxed parts yourself
