Looks like there's so much live rock that's there's not much swim room for the clowns. I can't really tell because there's no clear side shot that shows how much open water there really is.

I'm nearly done getting the supplies together to set up my first salt water, a regular ten gallon long, and I'm going to be adding in as much live rock as I can for bio-filtration and caves Without sacrificing too much open water and open sand bed.

hey i no this is a wierd qestion but how do u turn of the lights there is only a led switch on the top and i look ever for a diffrent on and wat protien skimmer did u used i need one and can u use tap water with conditinor or do u need to buy the water from the stores plzz helpp me and dont forgit to tell me how to turn of light and protien skimmer

jake- there is one switch but 3 different settings... 1 is the main lights, one is led moonlights, and 1 is off. an i used the biocube protein skimmer and that stays on 24/7....

You still need a water conditoner with saltwater to remove chlorine and metals, and as far as a chiller goes lower the heater's temperature in the summer unless you live in a hot region, Nice set-up never the less, looks like those are some fat little clowns...Myself I find the best bargins on craigslist.

do you dose ur tank? if so what do u dose ur tank with and how often. i have the same tank but my corals died from high temperature during the summer. do u use a chiller or fan?

i dose my water change water with purple up and coral vita and do weekly water changes... and yes there are fans in the hood.
