Downgrading your phone manually is no longer necessary, and is dangerous if you use the wrong SBF files. If you want to unlock your phone, especially If you have the official over-the-air 2.3.4/4.5.91 firmware, google search "automatic bootloader unlock atrix" and click the first link from XDA-developers.

Read the thread and download the tool. Press 3 for "apply fix for failed to boot 0x1000/no OS users" in the main.bat cmd prompt.

dont ever do this....the process failed and...i bricked my phone, luckily AT&T changed it for me

@DARKSYSONFTW You should have 1 year manufacture warranty and so they should be able to change it to the new one. just tell them you tried to upgrade Android OS and the process failed for some reason and phone failed to launch the OS. dont tell them u tried to flush the phone otherwise it will void ur warranty. so convince them by saying "the operating system got corrupted for some reason." Let me know whether that works.

@nirav7715 Yes, downgrading your atrix from the official 2.3.4(gingerbread)/4.5.91 firmware will brick your phone IF you use RSD/sbf without PUDDING. After unlocking bootloader, Only load new roms threw CWM/ROM manager and you won't (hard)brick your phone. If you screw up with rom manager, you can always try again(soft brick). If you screw up with RSD, you need tools only motorola has, so it is a hard brick.

Bricked my phone when flashing an OC without an unlocked bootloader, flashing back to sbf saved me.

@epictechtips Thanks for this video i think your about the only person i could find on youtube that does it right and simple... I used this to get rid of gingerblur and right now im on gingerbread with the motoblur skin i guess idk if you have tried the atrix with gingerbread but its much better its a lot more responsive than when it was on 2.2 and the car dock looks much better
