  • im using a vox tonelab SE too :) but i use an external drive to have more power for the distortion..

  • Funny to see this because I JUST got this same unit tonight from a friend and I have been working on this exact song for about two days now. Sounds pretty damn good.

  • Nice job. Nice rig.

  • Hi There! Amazing cover mate! Thinking about buying an SE. I was wondering the delay for this song, did you use the delay from this pedal, if so what type of delay, and how many mili seconds does it max to and how many repeats does it max to. I am asking this to see if it is worth it to sell my TC nova delay to help pay for the pedal Thanks mate. -J-

  • What is the blue multi-effects pedal, it looks like a tone lab but I don't understand how you have 2 expression pedals

    btw

    It sounds Sick

    - once I've finished my exams I'm thinking of swapping out the pedals I own and getting a multi-effects pedal:

are there any problems or improvments that this pedal has, because it sounds sexy

    I'm thinking about a - Boss ME-70 - Boss GT-10 - VOX ToneLab LE - Line6 M13

the main reason is to mess around with sounds, and to record

  • @wanaplayrough this is a tonelab SE they are no longer made

  • @seanstone07

    thanks,

  • @wanaplayrough check ebay i just managed one for 200 quid

  • @wanaplayrough POD HD bro, M13 Effects + Amp Modelling :)

  • this is very cool! nice one :)))))

  • To all of you great wannabe critics out there, you are bunch of fucking losers with nothing better to do but pointing at shit that you can't fucking do your self. Get your guitars out and shoe us what you can do, rather than fucking cryibg about someone doing you a favore!!! You bunch of dick sucking fucking assholes!!!

  • How the hell did you get that sound... It sounds identical, you can even mistake it for a fake!

  • y u fuckers criticizin that much?

  • you have your timing a little out at times try turning down a little, the solo has a hammer on and pull of that you dont do at the start. your b string is a little out of tune too.

  • first 4 seconds tells me that you are deaf.....I would NEVER use any rig that had THAT much hiss and humm......even if it is a strat.

  • Are you sure that hiss is even coming from the rig? Sounds to me like it's from the crowd.

I know this reply is like, a year late. Sorry =(

  • listen to 0:00 - 0:05 a few more times...

you hear where he rolls on the vol knob as the hiss begins...and then you hear the crowd / cd fade in.

I think I'd have to poke my ears out with pencils before I'd have trouble telling the difference between a crowd cheering on cd and the sound of a guitr run through a circut board plugged into the front end of an amp.

THe make noise gates and effects loops and A/B pedals for this sort of thing....and they are CHEAP AS DIRT solutions that work.

  • I sort of hear it now. I'm asking because I'm showing some interest in buying a 'one in all' solution that this pedal board seems to provide.

I would definitely consider also buying a noise gate, just because they're good to have around.

  • I think I'd have to poke my ears out with pencils before I'd have trouble telling

Well at least you don't have to do anything that drastic and painful to be a total DICK.

    Mission accomplished.

    Hey.... you hear that?!!

    It's the WHAAAAAAAAA-bulance.

Must be coming to get you.

    Pack a toothbrush!

  • Nice m8... Can u post your sound save?

  • if it wasn't for the guitar being just a little loud, i would have thought it was the origional song! Great job, keep it up, i just started.

  • Flippin amazing! What guitar are you using? How long have you been playing?

  • What kind of case is that?

  • Asolutely perfect tone!!!!

    Great!!

What kind of guitar and pickups?!?!?please...

    8^)

  • Very nice tone mate!

  • Yeah, the sound is better, it was just away for them to try and make more money. Because the size of the SE was soo big that people got putt off as it looked confusing, so they kinda simplified it and then out came the LE.

As I said, the sound is exactly the same, just the SE has two pedals instead of one.

    thanks

    -John-

  • You really need two pedals if you plan to use the wah. And otherwise you don't.

(I have only one pedal on my GT-8, and it sucks for that reason :( )

  • The difference is that the LE is the "upgrade" to the SE, but I think the SE is better because it's got two foot pedals.

The sound is identical but they've just got rid of a pedal.

    -John-

  • My god, it sound almost identical to the Edge!!! Really really good work man, Í´m always learning with your videos. One question, how much feedback delay do you use for the riff, or the whole song ?? Thanks !!

  • great result man... explain me your chain please!!!

  • the pedals i'm using are in the picture above. I'm running external pedals in the Tonelabs effects loop.

  • Hi- I've got an SE and get some pretty good U2 sounds out of it for STREETS and PRIDE, but I can't see what you're running here. Could you go through the settings L to R and tell me what your using including external effects and guitar. Thanks!

  • I don´t understand where is connected vox tonelab, do you uses any other pedal? what amp do you uses?

  • nice sound and voice.

  • awesome man..i love this song..and a lot of u2 songs. i know how to play most of this on bass. we just need a drummer who is into u2 and then form a long distance u2 cover band..haha
