  • Oh my heart, your video is so beautiful and heartwarming. I can very well imagine the little girl Truus and the cute doll under the table. You have created an extraordinary video, by the inspiration of your childhood memories.

  • @deepdivemouse Yeah, with not real hair, the doll :-)) And the last doll is just like me now old, not grey, but old. But I love to see them all, I have still nice memories on the girl under the table and this video. Thank you so much for your lovely words!

  • I think this song is very pretty and all, but porcelain dolls still freak me out.

  • @Dovesong23 Don't play the game Puppetshow :-) There are real creepy dolls in. I agree with you about the song!

  • Most members import some pictures, different sizes and that's all. I like very much you don't make your projects like the average member; I mean - by example - we don't see you use also vertical pictures. You make movings on that pictures, like I do.

    I respect your work.

  • Thank you very much Cor. I have different sizes of pictures only nobody see that :-) It is always for me a great challenges to make my video look alike a movie and working on that way with the pictures that the crossfade does what I want :-)

  • :-)) Wat een lief klein gedichtje, dank je wel!

    Liefs van mij

  • Lovely video Truus! Doll...ohh... how sad... I was not able to have a doll when I was a little child coz of not enough resources.... to grow up with a single parent is hard enough.

Thanks my friend for posting this video...

    Best regards,

    Arlene

  • That's true Arlene! I'll guess you didn't had a easy childhood. So I hope you enjoyed this video!

    Best regards!

  • Truus! When I read the last line of your story, I couldn't help but wonder if your sister now wears a bonnet for much the same reason!! Who could blame you! GORGEOUS video! I marveled at your director's eye for detail when the awesome reflective gold balls merged into a necklace then into a jeweled headpiece then to simple Asian hairpiece to the shamrock pendant leading to a clock which supported the danseur en pointe! You should teach a course in this!

In a way, you do -- Truus Tutorials!

  • To start with your last line Terry, I can't teach that, it is just something what you have or not. Fortunately I have it :-) Something from childhood I'll guess, my story's and my drive to perfection. You tell me! What I already wrote to Helga, I love the red headed, she must for you also have a link!

As always this was a joy to read Terry! Thank you!

  • Yes, I immediately thought of your German alter ego, Gabi, when I saw the fabulous red hair!!

Never have I seen such dolls as these. But then, like Helga, I was playing with everything but dolls!

  • Oh dear, 2 women friends here and they are not playing with dolls. Now it is proved, I'm not normal :(

  • It's really me and Helga who have asterisks by our names for not fitting the usual little girl profiles!

Of course now my Toshiba laptop is a dollhouse of sorts and you're a living doll!

  • I don't know Terry or you both not fitting the usual little girl profiles, but who cares? Not me!!!

And I'm happy that I sometimes can step in your dollhouse :-) It is a cosy dollhouse!

  • Because of the 2 women friends not playing with dolls??? :-)))))

  • Good evening my little doll and fountain of youth tube :-)) When I was a little girl, I always had troubles with my older brothers because I broke their toys!!! >> TTH !!! :-))))) I had only one doll but I were more interested in playing with the little boys the boys-games :-))))

As Floyd wrote your story truly is so cute as the dolls in your vid are and very lovely, also the song! Very beautiful my dearest and sweetest Truus!

With big warm hugs, many kisses and all of my love for you!! :-)

  • :-))) Why doesn't that surprise me, that your broke your brothers toys, you are for sure TTH :-))) But I forgive you, but I had never forgive my sister, so that's 1 point for you. I love the first doll, the read headed doll and the last doll, the old lady :-) That's me :-)))

Thank you my dearest and sweetest TTH :-) With big warm hugs, kisses and all of my love for you!!!!

  • :-)))) pfffffffff

  • My 'curiosity' is piqued and I must ask if it is ok to know what TTH means? ; )

    ~Terry with sunny Florida greetings

  • Well, as TTH is originally coming from our little living doll here, she is the one to tell you that dear Terry ;-))

I'm sorry, but I can't send any sunny greetings from Germany right now as it is real dark outside :-)))))

With a big warm smile, Helga

  • TTH means The Terrible Helga, a couple of weeks back she wrote me something and then I give her that name :-)

  • Oh, how silly of me! Of course I do recall your playful pronouncement! I just have a natural aversion to putting the words terrible and Helga in proximity to one another. (How's that for covering over my inability to connect the dots?!) : )

  • Dearest Truus,

What a cute story and fond memories. I can't relate to having a doll as a youngster but I had a dog that chewed up my new baseball glove. Anyways, Lovely video as always! Big warm hugs for you, Floyd

  • I was just in the mood for something cute and simple :) And I remember a lot from my childhood, when I was a lovely girl :-)

Thank you for your nice words my dearest Floyd!

    Big warm hugs!

  • My older brother also was devoted to break all my toys. Beautiful work. 5*.

    veel kusjes voor jou.

    Shon.

  • That was also not nice from your brother.

    Thank you Shon!

    Besos para tí :-)
