  • katie is a sweet horse there i rode her!! but sadly she cant be rode anymore she has some sort of disease that makes her sensitive to heat:(

  • i wonder if WOLF PAC was there at that time...?

    p.s wolf pac is a horse~

  • Oh man Michelle has gotten old!

  • Where is stephans college if you dont mind me asking, can you send me a message cause i dont know where this college is and i have dreamed of going there since i was a lil girl my father told me it was a great college but i cant remeber where it is. P.S. My father passed away so i cant ask him where it is.

  • @MustangGal1 Hi MustangGal, I don't know if anyone ever got back to you - but Stephens is in Columbia, MO. :)

  • Best babysitting school ever. Its like daycare for adults. Horse program thumbs down all the way.

  • @TheLustfulgirl - you're just pissy because you got expelled and can't handle it like a mature adult.

  • @ScotchMegafleet6201 I was not expelled I dropped out. I've been in college for 3 years. You just cant stand that some people hate your precious college.

  • @TheLustfulgirl Believe me, I really could care less if you hated Stephens or not. I can't stand that you than handle your disprovals like a child and post slanderous videos that are untrue. That's what I can't stand. You're entitled to your own opinion, but don't lie.

  • I'm an alum of Stephens, and the horse programme..an excellent school and an excellent department. What they said on the vid was true..I left school knowing how to work in the horse industry (and I do to this day). But when I went there, Deb Booker was the Dept. Chair and Michelle was the head instructor..I guess time doesn't stand still, eh? :)

  • @ScotchMegafleet6201 I poted that 2 years ago... and its really not cheaper. I cearly had no idea what I was saying. I left the WWU program, but I still believe its a better more well rounded program IMO :)

  • @WarmbloodJumper To each his (or her in this case) own I guess. Can I ask why you don't like Stephens, I personally find it to be more integrative than WWU. Just curious.

  • @ScotchMegafleet6201 I actually felt the other way around lol. Its just personal prefrence, but the program at WWU was nice truly for any equestian to appriciate to some degree I think :]

  • im attending stephens in the fall for their equestrian program, im so excited. (: this is my absolute dream school.

  • i almost went here, but chose findlay in stead thank god lol

  • Don't like how this is scripted. Just makes it look fake & dumb.

  • I didn't even know this video was up! I'm starting classes in the Equestrian Business Management program in 2 weeks :)

  • omg, y am i watching this?!? its torture cuz i will never be able to go there!

  • My best friend goes there and is in the equestrian program, the campus is beautiful. People are just wonderful and fun to be around. And now they have even more horses in their stables.

  • lol im going there no matter how much it costs.

  • to bad it costs alot!

  • ive tried to work out a way for me to do lessons i started last year but i had to quit i thought it was finaly gonna work out for me when my good friend emma wnated to do riding with me but we are redoing out kitchen and it would have been too expensive my mom started when she was 18 took 4 years off of college and ended up working out east with an olympic rider and she says ive got plenty of time but im 13 is it to late to start riding and be serious about it?

  • probably

  • no wayy! youve got plenty of time! are you kidding? go for it!

  • haha thank you :)

my moms friends in kentucky actually hare a two year old thoroughbred mare that theyre gonna send up if we can find a trainer and were hopefully gonna do eventing with her eventually

  • that would be really cool! good luck!

  • thanks again

and sorry i totally commented on my other account

    oops :[

  • we do not have this things in greece .....u are so lucky living there

  • My mother suggested an equestrian school, but my stupid ,cheep father didn't want to . He thought it was more important for him to save money for his soccer games and his girlfriend. Nice hmmm?

  • I GOING THERE!

  • I'm an Alumni of Stephens College and I was an Equestrian Business Management Major. It is an Awesome school, and I have some of my best memories there. I miss Stephens and wish I could go back! : )

  • IM SO GOING THERE

  • This seems really cool.

Because I ride all 4 types they offer.

I'm lucky enough to do that.

And I would most deff LOVE to major in equine stuff...

  • If I went their I would probabaly want to take the dressage class!!

  • Everyone looks so happy there! Hmm. Im 11. If I get some stilts do u think they will let me inXD?

  • i've been looking into this school alot, and its seems amazing. I know that if i go there i can master in almost any equestrian career out there. I also love the fact that stephens is an all girls college...i'm not sure that they specified that in the vid.

  • waw nice hackney

  • This is a great promo video.

A good mix of testimonial and action shots, along with its short length, make this video an easy watch.

  • When I went to visit a few years ago, I enquired about their dressage program; seeing that they advertised it as a main deicipline. The trainer informed me that she "gives one or two dressage lessons a semester depending on the interest".

That was a huge disappointment that they did not treat each discipline equally. I've had a hard time finding a school with a quality dressage program. Treatment like this has turned me off from an equestrian degree outright.

  • are you in any equestrian program now though? I'm trying to find a university with an equestrian programme and am also concentrating on dressage mostly...thanks :)

  • Ok, the only thing I Am confused on is that it says they teach four disciplines, hunt seat, saddle seat, western, and dressage, but it shows clips of jumping. That is what I would like to do at college, is jumping. So, if you could explain why it doesn't state English jumping on there, it'd be great.

  • Hunt seat includes jumping.

  • Ohhh. Duh. Where I live, we just call it English. Thanks. :P (Now I feel duuumb.)

  • Because english jumping goes under hunt seat.

  • thats soo cool. ive been looking for a place like that since i was 10! do you have a communications or any Lit courses?
