when making a suppressor, what size hole do you use in relation to the caliber? for instance, a .22, would you use a .25 hole or smaller for the bullet to travel trough? is their a formula or right pecentage to use for all calibers?

So what is the final verdict on gemtech in the NFA community? Supposedly suppressor mfgs used to be able to replace damage tubes (the serial numbered part) without paying a new tax until gemtech wrote a letter to the ATF in an attempt to hurt a competator, and screwed all of us by doing so. What's the deal?

@danebrewer10 Suppressors dont work the best on shotguns. And its practically impossible to get anything else in england, so your cheap suppressor prices are balanced out by the lack of suppressable firearms.

@Kylef7735 well, shows how much you know, we just have to have "reasonable excise to posess any firearm, and a place to shoot it. so a .308 purely for shooting foxes is out. I'd suggest you have a look on the BASC websitew, thry have a lot of info on UK gun laws and codes of practice etc.

How much room is needed behind the Halo suppressor to mount it? I am looking at getting one for my build that is using a 14.5 noveske afghan build and I was wanting to run the 13.2 larue rail similiar to to the 14.5 noveske build you guys have.

1. Pay for suppressor at a class 3 firearm dealer and receive paperwork

2. Fill out and send ATF paperwork to local state attorney or sheriff and have them review and sign off on it. As long as your not a "crazy person" and have a safe place to store it they will sign off on it.

3. Send in paperwork to ATF w/ $200 and wait a few months

4. Dealer calls you when they get the tax stamp and go pick up your suppressor!

Ddoes Gemtech carry a "screw on" can for my 9mm Colt AR carbine? I envision removal of the flash hider and a direct screw on. Is this possible. My friend is Class III and does my transfers.

They are few and far between. Ive heard of people custom machining threaded barrels for the FN five seven pistol but never actually seen one done.

It doesn't matter what firearm you use it on (in all but a few states / cities)
