As horses are every bit as intelligent as parrots, maybe horses also need toys to play with to occupy their minds? But seeing as they are also a prey species, introduce them slowly so they know it's not dangerous...?

why the big NO! exlamation point? ... I think toys for horses is a great idea. I was just brining up the point that each new toy might have to be added gradually so the horse can get used to it - but of course each horse is unique and some will be more sensitive to changes than others.

lol it's cute. it's pretty neat how horses have such awsome markings. my old mare just looks like someone through white pant on her forehead. lol and then my new 4yr olds star looks identical to the lightening bolt on the cartoon cover harry potter books. i thought it was pretty neat. i actually didn't notice until a week after i got her :P honest to goodness i got pictures :P

Cute horse but that isn't the safest thing to do because if the horse bites it hard enough and it breaks the plastic on the bottle the plastic could get sharp and harm the horse but still beautiful horse.

Looks like he wants a peice of that plastic bottle. I feel bad they have to be locked up so offten but I guess that comes with their job description. I know we keep my Friesian inside a lot as well so he doesn't get injured before a competition.

You don't know if it's a race horse. It probablly is though. :) But yes, my Aunt owns Special T Thoroughbreds ranch and I fully agree they are locked up constantly to prevent future injuries.

Do you go to a lot of races at all. It sounds interesting and exciting. I can't say I have ever seen a Thoroughbred race but I have seen harness racing. I know it's totaly different, but I would like to see a race in person sometime.
