the Darfur genocide has been going on for almost 4 or 5 years now.. i was still in college when this happened.. the last time i heard the UN had done something about it - but apparently the situation had been so critical that they are only allowed minimal access to the victims..

my only hope now is that what is still left of these small minority of a group should be granted refuge and protection from total annihilation..
