me either!! i met him years and years ago in a studio in Acton, my uncle, the late Roy Shirley knew him good good, i kept thinking how humble Alton was, he could sing on any riddim. im gonna really niss him because his voice was the first i remember back in 68 when i was about 2!! his funeral is gonna be rammed. peace
