  • Thanks, it makes use of the HGE engine for rendering and the Newton library for physics. The games core engine is based off the same framework I wrote for my "Ropeman" game and it makes use of my 2D tile map editor for the levels.

  • Thanks for the info! I have decided to take a try on a 2d sidescroller just like the one you made here (probably much simpler) with a different story etc... I'm going with HGE and dev-c++. I'm pretty new to the whole thing but I'm hoping to get it done with the HGE forum help :)
