Alot of people wonder why Blizzard doesn't update the graphics of WoW. Here's why:

Blizzard likes money. Lots and lots of money.

If Blizzard updated the graphics, not only would it take huge amounts of time and money that could be spent on, you know, actually making the GAME MECHANICS better, they would also lose huge amounts of subscribers because their computers wouldn't be able to run WoW anymore. Sorry, not everyone can afford to buy top-of-the-line gaming systems.

@MrJackSterbenc He was originally supposed to erupt from a zone North West of Stormwind called; "The Deathwing Scar". But Blizzard scrapped that, and now that area has been overtaken by sea water. They changed it so that you now also enter Deepholm from the Maelstrom. Deathwing came from Deepholm as well. There's a few vids on Youtube about it, and it has been explained on sites like WoW Wiki.
