  • I was doing a project w/ my 12 year old daughter about Palestine & was trying to have her relate oppression to something she was familiar with. I then got into the 1967 race riots in Newark & your video came up. It was moving & powerful. She understands more of what other oppressed people are feeling by relating it to people she knows. I thank you. PS:I'm white & 48 & saw the tanks rolling down Bloomfield AVe. towards their home base in Newark & I remember the feeling like it was yesterday.
