@xsaber103x he just got really, really good at playing the lydian musical mode. if you like the sound of this song, look for songs in lydian, as this song is a really good demonstration of it. satch is a teacher at heart, and it seems like he intentionally makes the modes easy to pick out in a lot of his songs.

lots, and lots, and lots of experimenting with ur tone. its got like a rectified mesa tone, nd lots of mids and mid-midhigh bass settings, slight delay, and medium-high treble settings. its got like 2 distortion pedals, or if u just have one like a boss ds-1 if you cant afford the satchurator. something with alot of grit nd chunky mids, but alot of attack as well.
