  • For long time users of Access, 2000 and prior, the 2007 version is a freakish mess. The "ribbons" are not as concise as in the previous versions and finding things is somewhat labor intensive. I wouldn't say it's a dog, but for my situation in a small business environment with multiple, unskilled users, changing the whole look of this tool does not bode well and I'm reluctant to upgrade at work for fear of the consequences.

  • this is just like excel

  • Now what screen recorder did they use?

  • Access is by far the least intuitive of all MS apps I've tried so far.

  • how is this different from Excel?

  • "how can I delete a table from access 2010 database.

  • Dear Sir

I am using ACCESS since 2003 a,recently I anstalled the ACCESS 2010. I dont know that how to scroll records in forms by MOUSE wheel as we do in 2003 versions.

I will be very grateful if some body guides me.

    thanks

  • "Customization Tools are easily found in the office ribbon. And intuitive to use as you can see." Do you actually believed what you've said? I can see this now coming up into the next Microsoft campaign that we the users asked for this. No wait that will be for Office 2010 when you'll finally listen and admin that the ribbon is a disaster.

  • Nice job reading the teleprompter Abbot, have you ever used access, if you had you would be more cranky and bitter like the rest of us who have to deal with that dog of a product

  • lmao...

  • I don't care about new features in Access right now. Just tell me you've standardized the dialogs, fixed many issues with old stuff that wasn't updated for years, categorize properties like in Visual Studio 2008 and THEN I'll take a look at those new features.

  • @KawazoeJapan You weren't stupidly trying to use access with more than four records were you? That would be silly.

  • @MrDarcyzPP You would not believe what they teach us in IT school...

  • why are the people in all these videos so awkward??

  • The people are "awkward" because they are the product managers for each of the products about which they are speaking. These folks are NOT on-screen personalities as that isn't really their job.

  • Then why not use someone who IS on-screen personality? They have to promote the product, not make me feel sorry for the managers. Awkward. Really, really awkward. I'm sure its a great product, bet the stiff, scripted talk makes me feel uncomfortable.

  • Sounds like you have issues. I see your point but it doesn't bother me. It is like most TV commericals where the actors pretend they really like the products with big smiles. It is a method of communication well established within the business community that has developed a relationship with the audience for over 50 years. Just ignore the fluff and go for the Gold. Test drive it if you feel uncomfortable. Access 2007 is a great product, I use it on a daily basis and this looks great too.

  • @mykol13v Actually, sounds like YOU have issues, Mr. Marketinghistoryparrot. You'd rather give advice than see a person's point. So, here's some advice for you..fuck off.

  • @MrDarcyzPP what are you 8 years old? If I commented on the person's POV, like duh, I understand it but doesn't mean, like way, I have to pay homage to premise. Yo, I'm going to tell your Mommie.

  • I enjoyed all their videos. Honestly, I see it more interesting to see actual people presenting. Wonderful people.

  • Because they're americans? lOl

  • @NFM18 Are you saying Americans are a bunch of awkward douchebags?

  • @MrDarcyzPP Not everyone... like multiracial americans, but the natives/english decendents usually are lol

  • @rackzozing They're naked from the waist down.

  • @rackzozing No, but you're totally correct...
