Love that your staff has a kong, because if he's anything like my staff cross he will chew toys to pieces if they aren't solid rubber! Lol. That being said, maybe the cat is really smart and did do it.... :P

here's a tip from a staffy owner to another. give him a huge bone every day, that way he can keep his teeth workin but doesn't have to destroy toys/furniture

Yeah those toys don't last long with staffys, we even bought one of the so called 'indestructible' squeaky ones and he tore it apart within minutes, lol. ours would also give you the puppy dog eyes when you'd ask "who's done this?" or "what's happened to this toy?". Two great dogs you have there... spoil 'em rotten

Thats OK mummy or Bully killed our lounge when he was 10 months old and a good reason for a new 7 foot lounge.

He is now 5 al likes to pull the stuffing out of his 2 ALF dolls I purchased off ebay for him.

The dog has no clue what is going on. He is reacting to the tone of your voice. I bet if you said the same words to him in a different tone he would be waging his tail and look happy.

I can say to my dog "you naughty dog" in a good voice and she will wag her tail and look happy. I can say to my dog "good girl" in a bad voice and she will cower and put her tail between her legs.

A dog doesn't understand a word you say. They are going by learnt responces and tones of voice.

@WiNgY8t6 when my puppy was still chewing everything in sight, I'd come home and, if he stayed away from me, I'd know immediately that he'd done something naughty. I'd go looking and sure enough I'd find some plant or something! that he'd chewed thru. We worked it out that it wasn't so much the plant he wanted as he liked chewing the plastic pots. So, after that, we just gave him the lge coke bottles (minus lids etc) and he left my plants alone! & had fun with bottles as well.

Odie is soo gorgeous. I have two Staffys, 4 & 10 years old and I love them as much as my own children.....It cracks me up when they have done something wrong because you know as soon as you see that guilty look on there face. Staffys are more honest and loving then some human beings by far.

My current dog had a little pink monkey toy once... Made a video on here what happend to that... All what I can say is... We tried to reanimate the little pink toy... But it did not last either... *shakes head in a sad kind of way* Some dogs are just downright vicious...
