Georgian dance suite at annual Eastern Arts concert

Dear friend, Duduk is used in Georgian music by some minorities who are living in or right next to Georgia and I don't mean just Azeris or Armenians who are masters of the duduk. We got all our music straight from Georgia as well as our dances. As you must know there are many types of peoples around there there like Ossetians, Abkazians, Kabardinkans, etc. not just staged dance. And we had mostly women so they had to try to do the men's dance, of course with different toe style. Dr. Lloyd Miller

ya and Samaia as well womens dance but none hase duduk it has pure Caucasion musics both

Narnari is the only womens slow dance and no duduk in it as well totally different music

we do not have duduk in Georian dances except the Old Tbilisi

there is no moves in Lezginka like 8:35

Most Georgian dacnes are fast we do not have those Iranian kind of slow dance

and Old Caucasus had never Persian or Armenian influence:))))

U can watch Rustavi, Erisioni, Sukhisvhili groups

and some moves are not even close to Georgian i just wonder who gave u those ideas?? :))))

some parts it is very slow and more similer to Iranian the music than Georgian

temp is very slow i suggest watching more Georgian dances or taking advice from Georgian only Georgian others might not tell u the truth

Greetings. Yes the first part is all girls doing men's Georgian moves but, of course, they don't have the male toughness. But they did go on their toes a lot even if it is ballet toes. The last girls part is suppose to be very gentle like the olda Caucasus women's dance which is like dreamy Persian and Armenian women's dance. Thanks for the comments and for watching.
