  • Nice one,

Try setting the exposures in Manual mode, it wont flicker that way.

  • Yeah, gotta try that. I have to find a time, when the light is rather constant.

  • What settings did you use on the camera? Manual everything like WB, focus, shutter and aperture?

  • "Av" setting: fixed aperture, target EV, automatic shutter speed. WB auto i think, but frankly i hadn't even thought of it at the time.

Semi-automatic modes might contribute to the flickering, but the brightness drop at sunset is extreme, so i don't think fully manual wouldn't cut it.

  • awesome lapse :)

ever tried using the 450D video software for video recording? not in hd tho..

  • Yeah i did. In fact my i'll probably use my 450D as my webcam if i ever decide to make YT videos where i need to record myself. Bit clumsy and like you said; not HD, but no extra cost and the image quality beats any webcam i suppose.

Hey, Just saw you're a 450D timelapser as well ;)

  • Hey this is beatiful, great job! how many pictures?

  • Thanks, about 2100.
