@coolcat2239 Oh boy, hard to answer, basically it's all about a death sentence prison for criminals which has been modeled as an entertainment thing, like Pay per View of killing inmates. Inside this prison is another one, same design, but for a group of individuals called Deadmen, people who have the power to manipulate their blood, an ability brought on by a cataclismic event years prior that had contaminated certain people with the Branch of Sin. Umm that's the basis of the plot.

@coolcat2239 Now, the story follows a guy called Ganta, a boy who had his classroom attacked by some horrific masked guy who murdered everyone he knew somehow using his blood, before for an unknown reason punching something into his chest, knocking him out. When he wakes up, he has been taken into custody for the murder of all his classmates, and is sent without trial to Deadman Wonderland. He then meets Shiro, a girl who seemingly recognises him, and has some deep attachment to him.

@coolcat2239 While there, trying to survive amongst the games to the death, he is attacked again by the Masked guy, and he awakens his own Branch of Sin, and ends up being forcibly contained within the second prison for the Deadmen. The story then goes through his struggles in this horribly twisted life, with his strange powers he never wished for, the mystery of the girl he can't remember, and just who the Masked Person was, and why he was targeted by him, and just how he will escape this hell.

@coolcat2239 My description doesn't really do it justice, especially not the manga, every charecter is unique and well rounded, the plot is at times insane, but also well done, and the growing relationship between Shiro and Ganta is well done, alongside the growing mystery of who she is, and the mystery of the Wretched Egg (name for Masked person)
