I gotta find a place like that here in the chi... I went vegetarian early this yr, now Im tryna move into a vegan lifestyle, just cant really find the grocers that carry this stuff. But Im glad I watched this cause I didn't know vegans had all that to eat, so im gonna be good next yr and healthier:)

Again... Excellent Video! Note: Health Nuts is a health food store not a vegan store (they sell meat, dairy and other animal products too) though they have a nice selection of vegan goods. The only grocery stores that I know of that do not sell meat (I don't know of any fully vegan grocery stores in New York) is Integral Yoga Natural Foods and The 4TH Street Food Co-Op.

I especially love that you chose The Health Nuts (a small family owned chain) to film at instead of the massive Whole Foods Market a few blocks away on nearby Columbus avenue. There are many healthfood stores in that area (Gary Null Uptown Whole Foods on 92nd St. and Columbus Natural Food on Columbus & 94th). Continued above...

ADOREABLE!!!!!!!! so much fun looking at your excitement!!!! Be careful of vegan cheeses... FILLED WITH OIL... Basically just garbage!!! Next to no nutrients in them. Many have casein in them, which is a DAIRY MILK protein. Double check. Casein is HIGHLY carcinogenic (see the work of Dr T Colin Campbell).. But awesome video. So great to show folks... theres tons of yummy food to eat! TONS.. Everybody, go see Forks Over Knives.

Wow I wish have store like this close to me... have everything! when I go shopping I always see the ingredients to make sure they are vegan, in that store the Vegan word is big and is easy buy vegan food. :-) So easy Go vegan there!

So much great vegan food out there, there really is no excuse for any slaughterhouse to exist. The popularity of almond milk makes the dairy industry crazy, they're doing commercials now making fun of non-dairy milks; they need to just butt out and mind their own business, in fact they need to get into the almond milk business instead :-)
