Hey, Great work! Do you know if the white markers will work over a black base coat? Also do you have any trouble with seeing the stroke marks from the pens?
that is nasty, mad props man. Thats the only reason I wanted to play goalie just to rock a rowdy helmet, but then I decided that I would much rather do the shooting than stopping.
@MrChrisOsgoodfan I usually do it, but this helmet was ready to be painted when I got it. No preparation.
The brand name is Posca. Here in Sweden, they are not so expensive. I have no idea what they might cost where you live. Check them out on the internet!:)
@sundowncolcol Hey, great that you like the video. Okay, but you should check out the pens. They have never flowed out or something similar when I use them. Not after clearcoat either.
@HockeyLover567 Hi, I have been painting all my life but when I was around seventeen I started to paint with airbrush. So you have very much time to getting good at painting your own masks, good luck!
@thenextdoorstudio i have done many hand signs with posca. and have start fading after 1 month in direct sunlight...but not with clean on top..clear will uv protect it but i dont know how much really!! i whould guess not much..
@razoramon989 Thanks dude. Sorry for a late response. Yes I clear coat the entire mask after I am done with the color work. I prep the surface by using fine sandpaper, to roughen up the surface.
man, your design blew me away! i've never heard of posca pencils, but it would save me tons on masking time! i'm subscribing to your tube so keep that shit coming!
@wheresmywatermellon Thanks man! Posca pens are very nice, shortens the time and increase creativity. I like to have contact with the surface when I'm painting, not like the airbrush. Nice that you suscribe, More cool stuff coming soon!
very nice !
