@MrChrisOsgoodfan I usually do it, but this helmet was ready to be painted when I got it. No preparation.

The brand name is Posca. Here in Sweden, they are not so expensive. I have no idea what they might cost where you live. Check them out on the internet!:)

I have painted a few hockey lids myself but have never heard of posca pens?

Can you shoot 2k clear over them? any pens i used in the past ran when i put the first grab coat of clear on?.

@sundowncolcol Hey, great that you like the video. Okay, but you should check out the pens. They have never flowed out or something similar when I use them. Not after clearcoat either.

@razoramon989 Thanks dude. Sorry for a late response. Yes I clear coat the entire mask after I am done with the color work. I prep the surface by using fine sandpaper, to roughen up the surface.

@wheresmywatermellon Thanks man! Posca pens are very nice, shortens the time and increase creativity. I like to have contact with the surface when I'm painting, not like the airbrush. Nice that you suscribe, More cool stuff coming soon!
