Sure, it doesn't take up so much vertical space as rendering Khmer script properly, but it sure looks ugly to me!! I'd definitely prefer to have my menus etc taking up more space and have nicer script than have to look at this all day. It's the equivalent of reading a font in English with bad kerning and the letter spacing all wrong. Ugh.
For me user interface is important. If the interface changed to ugly to accommodate Khmer font, I rather use English.
I think Microsoft will find the good solution for Khmer font in the short future! I prefer the interface the same and Khmer scripts are nice too!
