the best thing s 3d castlevania ever did for the series, the rest got caught up in dungeon crawling and combat and completely fucked off the platforming. This is the only 3d iteration where you truely have to platform your way through the stages and rapidly. Fuck combat, real castlevanias both 2d and 3d will always be action platformers.
omg what game is this?! If this is castlvanis 64 I never played this part or version! I played as Reinhardt and that Carrie chick but who is this other guy and why did I never see this portion of the Castlevanis 64 game that I had?!
This is Castlevania Legacy of Darkness, it released a year after Castevania 64, and is a prequel to that game. It revolves around Cornel, and leads up to Carrie and Reinhardt's story.
@marksouzacosta Actuallly Rienhardt is a Belmont hes air to the belmont clan so thats makes hima belmon neddy any questions ask me im a castlevania freak
man i wish i could get a workable rom of this game cuz this was the nintendo i loved. So R rated and creepy for what nintendo usually made i remember getting nightmares from playing this at nighttime and the further i got through the game the worse my nightmares were. Truly great game though.
gran juego, no se por que no le dieron buenos comentarios, para mi fue un éxito referente al castlevania en 3D,mucho mejor que los intentos para el play station 2, y solo queda ver el de play 3 que de verdad promete mucho, Lord of Shadows
I didn't play this game or the originals but I played the first Nintendo 64 Castlevania... I thought the old Count was a facade and the young blue haired man was the real Dracula... anyone care to explain?
if you mean castle vania games then definitely the SNES, if you means games in general then definitely SNES as well. Only thing N64 really had going for it was Ocarina of Time and the sequel, they still hold up well. SNES has dozens of classics still very fun and playable.
@stevemac11 you are joking rigth? please tell me you are joking, and this was an aprils fool, the 64 had titles like: indaina jones 3 (better than the crappy PC version) Castlevania 64 (both) Killer instinct,TLOZ, majoras mask, Sin and punishment, pokemon stadium, bajo kazooie, banjo tooie, and the list goes on
@TheGoodWillSpreader maybe it's a generational thing. Even when N64 was out, Pokemon was way too chilidish for me. The Castlevania 64 games weren't nearly as good as the SNES or PS1 versions. Killer instinct, and Indiana jones both sucked for the N64. Like I said, N64 had both zelda games that were amazing but beyond that, it's titles were weak. SNES has metroid 3, super mario 4, final fantasy 4,6, super contra, street fighter 2, chrono trigger, secret of mana, and the lsit goes on and on...
@TheSkitzophrenics I was probably liek 18 when Pokemon was huge so I missed the boat on all that stuff. That being said, I stand by the fact that SNES has a much better library than N64 ever had.
omg,,, castlevania.... *___*
i loved to play it but i never finished it.. how did it end..?

Cornell could of at least tipped the boat person jesus he/she went all the way out there, probably hit an iceberg after.

Its rare you see any voice work in a n64
epicfailbrawl 2 years ago 22
@epicfailbrawl What do you mean rare? There's plenty of N64 games that utilize voice work. I'm hard pressed to think of many that don't.
