Hey i was thinking of getting a 06 440 im 14 and 125 pounds and around 5 11 and i want a skidoo that will hold up i had a 2002 440 and completely destroyed it on a jump basically i want to know if there any good and will hold up

@123wefightin you must be doing SOMETHING wrong to "completely destroy" a 440 on a jump, rev or otherwise. I am near 200lbs and it holds up to me so I see no reason why it wouldn't hold up to a smaller guy. If you are landing flat or casing everything then that might take it's toll after a while...

@123wefightin you could also get a 1997 Ski doo formula 3 600 triple. we took ours up last year and it held up with the 2008 ski doo revs. So im my opinion i think its the best sled you can get with 500 bucks. some need fixed up though

I've heard good things about Polaris Indys in terms of reliability but I'm sure someone else could do a better job informing you. I don't ride unfortunatly, I'm a skier. Maybe check craigslist or ebay if your looking for a used sled.

rev 440 or rev 600 would be ok i'm 14 and have a rev 600. just don't ride outside of your vision and repect the throttle and before you start playing around with it make sure you know how it responds and acts.. you can die on a 340 trail if you are an idiot too haha

probly. i got a 08 rev 440 and i rode mine for about a mounth without converting it and it cost so much to ride everyday. so i trail converted it. made a bit of a diffrence

well nice try but ski-doo stopped making 440's in 2007 now they make 600rs which you have to buy a mod kit for so you can race them. so if you have a 2008 600rs then all you would have to do is put a bigger gas tank on it and you would be set and you could re-valve the shocks for trail riding but i dont know why you would do that

I love it on my warrior and its a BEAST.. so long as you dont get cocky, the torque and some skill, will get you through anything a summit could do.
