Legal union is a first step. Though it still violates the 14th and the 9th Amendments of the US Constitution. Marriage is a not only a civil right but a fundamental. In the 14th Amendment, it is specified that there are no second class citizens in the USA. Therefore, every laws and every rights in the country must and shall be applied to every citizens equally. The politic of separate but equal violates this right of every citizens to beneficiate of the same laws as every other citizens.

If you listen shortly after he makes that comment, you can hear him say that "ALL sin is equil in the eyes of god". Therefore Idolatry=Adultery=Homosexualit­y=Murder and so on. I will pray for you Mr. Clark.

By the way, I have my sins too so I am not perfect. But every day I strive to be a better person than I was yesterday. While there are many things that I do not know, there is one that is an ultimate truth. Jesus died for me and for you. I know that my sins are forgiven but that no way entitles me to keep on living in that sin. If I am to be called a bigot for standing up is what I believe in, so be it. I would rather be outcasted for doing the right thing than be loved for doing the wrong thing
