@ csendesmi.. The speakers dont turn. The speakers are bolted down inside the leslie and there are rotors on top and bottom that spin to give the amazing sound that it gives.
i hope i can do a new, more informative video soon...i used sliding contacts for the lights - some current also goes though the ball bearings (not really the best solution). Ive also mady some major changes so far: new valve amplifier, alternative horns, a motor control unit, equalizers and modified the audio crossover, PLUS: a little dock-on dolly, (my roadie had the idea ;-)
the compression driver (basicaly a tweeter), is bolted into the cabinet facing up. the rotor is mounted above the compression driver. the sound from the compression driver projects into the rotor.
Like a Pink Floyd intro, reminds me about a mellotrone connekted
to a mellotrone.

how does it work i can't understand how the wires can turn with the speaker!

I would suspect he's probably using a Mercotac or something similar.

the speakers dont turn.
lets just concentrate on the horn.
the compression driver (basicaly a tweeter), is bolted into the cabinet facing up. the rotor is mounted above the compression driver. the sound from the compression driver projects into the rotor.
the rotor spins, the speaker stays in place.

Really nice. It would go well with J.M.Jarre's cirkular keyboard with light in the keys.
