@knightblazeru no you're not stupid, There's a part of me that would like to see the story continue. But there's part of me that wouldn't want it to become trite. After watching Cars 2, I'm a little less than confident that they can pull off another blockbuster sequel to top ts3... One major reason is that Andy, in my mind, was always as main of a character as buzz and woody, and I think they brought his story to a fitting conclusion.

Look man, I want a TS4 as much as the next guy but that would kill the TS trilogy, rendering part 3's entire storyline useless. They wrote it in the form of a final good bye and the end to TS, period. If you want an adventure with bonnie and all that shit make a TV series then, that would still hurt the trilogy yeah but not as bad.

I really hope to god that Pixar does not produce a Toy Story 4. TS3 ended so perfectly, and it'd be pointless to make another. The shorts are one thing, and they're enjoyable because they have no meaning to the plot of the Toy Story trilogy. But all in all, it'd be pointless to continue a story that's already ended.

And Doc didn't share his findings with anyone about how to build a time machine. Toy Story's different. It's possible for there to be another sequel without it ruining the entire series. Of course it might not be as good.

@BoyYahoo101 I'd be up for a prequel, people are always talking about how Woody used to belong to Andy's dad, even I think the producer hinted at it at times. They could make a plot about Woody's past, sure Buzz wouldn't be in it but this way you wouldn't ruine what happened with Toy Story 3 and Andy would still be some what in the film some how. Maybe, start it off with Andy's kid playing with Woody and asks about his grandpa and Andy starts. I'm going to assume his mom tolled him some things.
