@mentalmetal1 I think that's actually steam. Lots of people are wearing coats on the beach so it's likely quite cold. The inside of a whale, and most living things for that matter, is pretty hot so when it interacts with the air it condenses.

@leotaurausvideosgfbf You know a better way to get rid of a wahsed up whale then i'd like to hear it. Towing it out to sea never works it normally ends up either on the same beach or a little further down the coast half rotted which is even harder to move because of the decay and you cant just let it lay on a beach to rot. Plus leaving it would cause the stomach gases to explode and would through tons of whale meat at people/cars and other animals possibly killing them.

It's both the gases trapped within due to the decomp as well as the much lower pressure on land compared to the abyss depths typically where whales dwell for much of the time and their bodies are pressurised as such.
