hum interesting, mine like feeder shrimp which are only like 10p. i spose the reason he doesnt reallyget anything is because i also have and african pike, pike cichlid, rocket gar and a boulengerella maculata, so once they have had a go there isnt really much left
if you want him to eat well your better off using shrimp, that was just lucky that the fish was so close, much better strike rate with shrimp. and its fun watching it suck the shrimp in!
Actually, everytime I put feeders in the tank, he eats multiple feeders. Goldfish are way cheaper then live shrimp where I am located. I also fed him earthworms. He would not touch market shrimp though, and thats what I prefer
How long have you had your chaca? I recently got mine and quite frankly I'm trying to get him to eat. what did you start to feed yours or did you just start feeding him goldfish?

and also how long have you had him for, he looks like a beats, ive had mine for 4 or 5 months doesnt seem to have grown very much
