I have a theory about obstacles being able to artificially push Kratos under the water's surface, so that he could swim normally, even without Poseidon's Trident. F.e. at Rings of Pandora, at the inner circle which is filled with water, the ceiling is so low Kratos passes straight through the surface and can swim like normal in the enclosed area.
So if an obstacle formation like that could be found, it would be awesome... I once tried to glitch into the water at this area, trying to Stomp to about every unstable stone wall in the area, but didn't succeed. This I'll have to try out myself right now.
I'll just add that the area at the innermost ring is a bit strangely built, as it has two layers of obstacle: one where Kratos catches the "swimmingness", other which forces him under the surface.
That was my first encounter with the swimming glitch so I was shocked when Kratos rose into the air. Of course, it became clear to me that the game was trying to force Kratos to the water's surface which, in this case, does not exist.
I was a little disappointed when they clocked in so close. I was going to include the original method in the vid but I decided that it was unnecessary.
By the way, are you going to upload a vid of the new Oracle method you mentioned? I did it yesterday and it is just as effective as it is easy. It's also funny in a way... jump up, fall down, and then the cutscene triggers.
I was planning on uploading it but if you would like to, that would be great because my video quality is not very good and its kind of a pain to set it up. If you don't want to, I will.
Did you know about the stairwell glitch before the Sewers of Athens? By using the doorway you can fall right into the sewer without going down the stairs. I don't know if it was already known or not because I never saw your original run and I haven't seen it in any other vids.
Okay, I finished. I don't mind capturing for another God of War player, especially since I'm not busy atm, but please do put "played and captured by satvara" at the bottom of the vid description at least.
I clear it in about a minute in the video so maybe you can call it "Saving the Oracle in one minute" or something. I'm not sure about the statue route though, but whatever. I hope it's good enough for ya.
I'm linking to this video in the glitch FAQ, if you don't mind.

As I'm sure you already know, without Poseidon's Trident you will always just go sky high with the swimming glitch.
Interesting that it only save a second because it seems clearly faster.

Maybe I could make a vid and send it to you so you can put it up at your channel.
Yes, I did. It's very slick, isn't it? I tried to do the same at the stairs before the conveyor belt but I couldn't get over the "wall."

That would be nice but I wouldn't mind if you put it up at your channel.
I figured you probably knew about it. And I had the same exact situation before the conveyor belt.

...but yours would be better. ;D
I'll go play real quick. I won't be long.
