That's because it's MADE IN USA. We have gotten so used to the affordable prices of Chinese made products, that it makes it hard to pay the prices US workers, small businesses, demand due to our labor laws, taxes, rules and regulations. With this item we'll see if Americans really want to bring jobs back to the USA.
@mi17dy that arguement doesnt make sense. why should i pay a ridiculus price for something used for recreation simply because its made in the USA? hmmm should i buy a $450 american paintball gun when theres a $200 chinese model that works just as well, if not better?
@djvlive you try building one of though's like that. The amount of time and labour it would take you to make one wouldn't even make up for the cost that it takes you to build one. I know because i build stuff for a living. I could tell you off hand on a good guess what it cost to building a good replica of one of though's . About $450 to $600 depending on where you get though's wheels and lights. This price includes paint as well. Where you get your paint can really help bring the cost down
@djvlive Now if you have really good social skills on networking and you know lots of people and your good to them personally wise. You have a better chance on getting the best of the best of prices on materiel and machined parts you a can crank out 100's of these with less then half the cost it would take an individual to make from scrap. Remember though, lots of people don't realize that TIME is more valuable than money. Beat the time and don't be cheap, you will have a nice income
