I haven't read all of gardgia's comments, but I have to agree with his last few. I'm a big fan of Street Fighter, but this definitely wasn't a masterpiece. The first animated movie was a masterpiece, this anime's a bit bland in comparison. I watched this as a kid, and suddenly decided to buy the collection of it, unfortunately, it's not as great as I remembered. I'm also disappointed that it came with the edited opening instead of this one. Still something I'd keep as a memoribilia though.

by the time you reach maturity you start seeing things diferently. But I was fortunate enough to be born in the 90's. I remember fighting just for fun with my friends and cousins, faking we were the charact. from SF. We used to have a lot of fun! Every weekend we would wake up at 7am just to watch this. That's why it means a lot to me. The same way you worship "Grendizer", I worship SF! as well as many others like Yu Yu Hakusho, DBZ, Samurai X, Saint Seiya, etc. It's all part of my childhood.

I used to watch many cartoons during this period anyway (guess I was a "full grow up kid"?), and SF wasn't among the best at all. The fact that so many people think about that shit as a classic doesn't mean anything. After all, 50 millions of Elvis' fans were wrong, so...

I used to rent this series when I was around aged 13-14, and just watch it alone in my room lol. This song brings back incredible childhood memories. I used to love this song so much even back then, and now I'm 20, and I still love this music opening.
