People i have an question. Is this amp only for bass guitar or it could be used for solo or ritam guitar??If anyone knows please send my your answer to my email adress aleksandarmrki@hotmail.com
@wardragon431 It was a great little amp...not really suitable for gigging but cool around the house and for practice...what's your budget...maybe I can make a recommendation...
@wardragon431 Look for used then for sure...you want as many watts as you can afford...and at least a 10 inch speaker...try an advanced search on eBay and limit it to $150 and under (including the shipping...I think you can do that)...I like the GK amps for a good small amp that really puts out a big sound at a relatively low price...but see what you can find in your area used and let me know your choices are...send it to me via a message on my channel page...
@wardragon431 I've never played on an Orange Bass amp so I couldn't say...but 50 watts isn't enough power for a bass amp if you want to compete with drums...my advice is to save up even more so you don't have to replace it immediately. Are you only looking for a small practice amp?
@wardragon431 Hold out then and save some more...it's tough now but you'll be happier in the long run...in reality, you need at least (or as close as you can get to...or more...) 100 watts and either 2 ten inch speakers or a 15...especially if you are dealing with a loud drummer...I'm using a Fender BXR 100 now and it's okay but not great and I would like to replace it with something better but it can work...see if you can find a used Peavey TKO (they are like 75-80 watts & a 15" speaker).
dude i really enjoy bass reviews, but your basslines are very dead and annoying, rarely you get past the 5th fret on ANY string... you simply play some notes and then stop in a vibrato'd one! it would be far more interesting if you abused more of the neck with cooler basslines, so we could have an idea of how groovy it can be! cheers
This one is a very boring one and I sound very tired (maybe even sick) in it but it's probably the only one I've done that you've watched. Look for some where I use a loop as a backing track and I jam more freely...but keep in mind, these are really only for me to show that they work for my eBay auctions and I am a guitar player so in general, as a bass player I try not to overplay and sound like a guitar player but maybe I'll just not try to hold back in the future and go off more...
I hope you're kidding...I have probably forgotten more about guitars and basses than you will ever know and I've also gone through more strings than you ever will.
I was kidding...lol...just poking at you too...but you are 19...I can say it with confidence if I want to...you don't know me or my backround either...I've played for 35+ years now...look at the amount of instruments that have passed through my hands in the last year or two (as seen in the videos). I know what strings I use on my own instruments (what you see here is what I'm selling) but even then, I sometimes switch it up. I go through a lot of strings in a year...how about you?
I used to do that so you could tell what the sound of each bass was and not have it affected by the amp...and really each bass needs to have different amp settings to optimize the sound...I gave up and got a bigger amp and I EQ a bit because I didn't like the flat sound either...it was just a small amp anyways so it was never going to sound amazing...not to mention I'm a guitar player first and only mess with bass when I'm doing these demos (check my guitar videos).
Sorry for the delay...somehow I missed all the comments on this video...I did finally sell it for about $300 I think (...including shipping), not sure what it would have been new...it was a real nice small amp...thanks for the compliments!

Lol how would you know? You dont know me^^
Strings are a vital part of the bass and not knowing what strings you use is just ignorant.

can someone give me the 3 band EQ to have it sound like tom from slayer?
666TheBassMasta666 2 years ago
Why do you always set the EQ flat on ur amp? It makes all the basses sound like shit.

Thanks for watching anyways!
