  • I see you also own a Rambler American, from what I can tell in the video. In September I saw a red Saab 96 V4 for sale at the rod run in Pigeon Forge, TN. Believe it was a 1969. It was in good restorable condition with no rust. I liked it. It stood out from all the other cars for sale. I don't know what parts availablity is like though.

  • @zaidrim The Rambler -66 is in fact Ron's car - they guy speaking and starting/driving the 96er on the video. Hard to say about the parts availability f.ex. on the American continent, but at least in Finland, maybe in Sweden too, there are quite a many Saab collectors and from them it's pretty easy to find parts even for old 96ers.

  • SHUT UP AND START IT

  • NICE CAR from Ron-in-Mäki :)

  • Haha the cameraguy is hilarious with his accent :D

  • It's still not fixed..

  • not a happy car

  • did that lady have a shirt on?

  • So, any plans for this 96?

  • This 96 came as a 'parts car' together with another 96er and it was full of 96er's parts. But it was too good just for parts and we are planning to fix it 'someday', not restore completely but just make it run again. It's not a huge or a 'hopeless' project. The 96er has been sitting on a parking lot since the day this video was taken, partly because of vandalism (somebody cut wires inside the car).

  • And.... Got it running yet?

One tip: Don't "crack" the gearbox too much during shifting. You'll wear out the bearings.

  • Laittakaa kuuppaan kytkin ennenkun hajotatte vaihetoosan kokonaan hyvänen aika.. kuuppa on paras auto.
