  • why did you disconnect the second alarm horn?

  • can they use the horn disconnection thing on the ns or other alarms in public buildings?

  • do you use that for fire protection or just for fun?

  • cool alarms

  • what code is this

  • I have a 2099-9761, the T broke off though.

  • it broke off lol

  • There was a simplex T-bar in my school next to the cafeteria, and one day there was a false alarm, and later that day when I went past it to lunch the T was missing. The lunchroom has been converted to a library and the T-bar has been repaired.

  • Is that an NS4?

  • I thought the Simplex 2099-9761's have the larger "S" logo, this on has the smaller "S".

  • if you activate

    1 Zone = Pull Station

    2 Zone = Smoke Detector

If will go right into 2nd stage

  • No, it doesn't work like that. That's why it's useless.

  • nice, did you have wheelock sync turned on?

  • Yes.

  • I have been thinking about getting an ms 5 are they easy to set up

  • Yes, it's very easy. You can program everything directly from the panel, or with a computer through USB with Fire-Lite's PS-TOOLS software. If for some reason the master password has been changed, you can always just reflash the firmware with PPUWizard.

  • Was that really three minutes, did you skip the video, or was it just me on crack?

  • Yeah, I edited out most of first stage to make the video shorter.

  • ...sort of similar of how a halon system works, except one smoke det. trips the pre-alarm, another detector on another zone sets off the evac signal, with a set-time discharge delay. The pull station is set up as an immediate discharge, and general alarm, which cannot be aborted.

  • nice video. how come the wheelock NS didn't go off

  • I'm just using it as a remote strobe; I have the horn disconnected.

  • He said he only had the strobe wired!!!!!!!

  • cool system! Did you fix the fuse on your panel?
