I never actively memorize lyrics of many of my favorite bands. I can memorize Tarot's lyrics because Marco has such a clear voice, but that's it. Anette seems to not make too many mistakes with lyrics anyways.

The performances at Gampel Open Air prove to me that you really need to get your ears cleaned out or you should actually learn the lyrics. Sure, maybe it's been a bit since I've actively looked up Nightwish lyrics, but Anette seems to get them all pretty accurately.

I couldn't notice it, but I don't have much of a problem with it if it exists. Live shows also exist for the musicians in question to improvise if they feel like it. Changing a couple words should not piss you off that much.

Sure, maybe I would prefer another singer in Nightwish, like Floor Jansen (especially since After Forever called it quits), but Anette does a good enough job singing, and dealing with butthurt Tarjaholics.

Tarja didn't even really like metal even WHILE she was in NW and Once was the first NW album she actually really liked. Tarja messed up lyrics as well. What's good for one is good for the other. =D
