My only concern is the video quality BUT these tutorials are GREAT!!!!! I just learned to Rewire Reason and Logic Pro... difficult to see where you're clicking due to the quality but well explained! Thank you God Bless! =)
now when im working on my reason 4.0 i will use spider audio now. I just have to view it over again how u connect spider again. But thanks teacher Peace
Thankyou heaps for the tutorial i learnt alot from it. the splitting part was good but i dont understand why it has a merger when you could just use the combinator to send different channels to a single channel on the mixer. is there a difference between combining a group of sounds and merging a group? is one way better then the other? or is it the same thing?
Hey. Important to remember that the Spiders were released before the Combinator came out. I guess the Combinator does alllow for great creativity, but still important to know what they do :)
I have many training dvds on Reason from v2.5 to v4.0, none of these dvds have really explained in detail the uses of the spider units. I have found you tutorials excellent, you explain things very well, I now get the idea of the units.
Reasons routing capabilities are out of this world, its easy to get lost in it but I love it lol
Nice one on posting this vid, much appreciated and clearly explained. I want to start using Reason to start producing ym own music. The only production i have done to date is on a Roland MC505, but it was very limited.
Do you think it's better to use a PC or a Mac for producing music??
I've used both Mac and PC for producing tracks. I can honestly say that there's no real difference when it comes to the creative process, but the real difference is in the price of computer hardware. You can get the same processing power out of a PC for much less money than a Mac, and you can upgrade it to your heart's content much easier as well.
Cool, thanks for replying. i think i'll probably go down the PC route then, as i know what i'm doing with Pc's (to a point) plus your comment about upgrading is very true and something that i hadn't considered. Thanks again

Your tutorials are easily some of the best on youtube, it's like taking an actual audio tech class rather than an internet tutorial.
