Excellent video. You do not however have to burn at 4x speed. Maybe it works good for you but it is a big time urban myth. Actually it depends on the cd/dvd write speed and your cd/dvd burner. If you have high end stuff than burn at high end speed and it will actually work just as well and in some cases better. Great post.

I have this program called Ulaunch.elf on my memorycard. I start it and launch Snes emulator wich is located on my hard drive with the ROMs.

You don't have to have the emulator on CD.

if you own the actual cartridge from the nes it is not illegal. I own a few of the mario games.

No it is not, as long as he owns the original (or it's a homebrew like Super Mario World R, which I have never seen... but I have a couple of HB's for it). That is why it is legal to buy Swap Magic and Modchips. As long as you are making a backup of a game you actual own then it is 100% legal. If you tried to sell it or let someone borrow it, however, then you have a problem (though copyright is broken millions of times a day... so w/e).

That depends on your country. There are certain countries (I have a list ready) that haven't prohibited their use. mod chips are only 'illegal' when used to "circumvent copy protection mechanisms". It is perfectly legal to create and play home brews, and copy games you already own. SNES Station is a home brew and as long as you own the original SNES games then it is not illegal. I prefer Swap Magic myself... but mod chips can be useful too.

you dont need to burn a cd you can put the rom in a pen drive and will work fine cause the snesstation suport u8sb too thats is good cause this way the lens of ps2 will be preserved

well, the emulator isn't exactly complete yet. You'd know that if you read on the page, it's still in alpha or beta. I haven't checked recently. if you don't like it, download the source and make your own emulator.

It works *Almost* perfect w/out sound, but it is actually a good emulator for ps2; you can play more than just games which were ported from SNES to PSX, like Super Mario. I don't say it is the worst emulator in the world, but it's great work.

you dont have to burn a 4x the slower you do it, yes you get better results but to speed things up a bit i do either 8x or 12x they both work no higher than 12x though, as long as your writer supports it of course.
